I think I'm the oldest person here. I graduated high school in...1969!!!!!!!

Nope! 1969 here too and took alot of grief for that graduating date! I actually was into James Taylor along with the other miusic mentioned today. I still love JT . Carry On!

Mott the hoople.....Buddy Miles waaas best

I just have to say that I loved it when Stephen talked about how if Travis walked into the room right now they would all feel his love, how he wanted to be your friend, how much he cared, etc.. I just got this image of Travis somehow coming back to this world and hugging and crying with each of the jurors, of all them crying together over the suffering he had to endure. I believe that this jury feels his suffering more than almost anyone else....they have heard the whole case, deliberated on it, thought about it, studied and looked up close at each one of those gruesome photos. I also believe they are bonded with Travis.

That image just resonated so much with me, I'm wondering how the jurors felt when he said it...if they felt the same way I did.

I'll have a Stevie Nicks with a dash of this please. :)

Love the song. But for the BM's you MUST HAVE tons of horseradish!! (It's God's rule!!))

Sleep tight... come back tomorrow with more song ideas.

I may have missed it in the thread but has anybody mentioned "Mott the Hoople"?

Ready For Love. Man I used to love that song. The band caused me to miss senior prom. They were in concert that night and my boyfriend couldn't miss it.

Loove Mott...

JA is going to suffer no matter what. Death or LWOP. Either way, ten times better than the verdict in CA's case. That makes me happy. Her going free would not be happy times.

No more of the 1000 places to see before she dies. No photography. No cameras. No provocative clothing. No bleach blonde hair. No road trips. No PPL. No preying upon naive young men. And no strawberry frappuccinos or music videos for her.

After watching the whole trial and reading as much as I can, I still do not understand why the defense is allowed to say things about a victim without any evidence that these things actually happened. I am so angry that the system allows the victim of a crime to be victimized again during a trial. I have seen this happen so many times. Why aren't the rules of evidence the same for both prosecution and defense. My family was involved in a very small case in which my son's character was bashed with no evidence. Very small case..so I cannot imagine what the Alexander's and others who have posted here are going through. Something has to change. Some people will always believe Travis was a pervert no matter what the source. Thanks for listening...just venting,

You are so right!
Mick Ralphs played for Mott then left to form the band Bad Company with Paul Rodgers. Sheesh, who knew?

I didn't know! My first concert, as far as I can remember (other than Renaissance with a friend of my mom's and her son), was Bad Company at Madison Square Garden. According to google that was 1976. Needless to say I didn't have permission :)

Ok guys I'm signing off now too....nite all and thanks for the fun tonight!
