The DT could have asked Jodi or whoever is tweeting for her who the next witness was. You know they were already aware of Abe testifying. Nurmi wanted another "No fair, mistrial etc." :tantrum::tantrum:

The state should be ashamed for the sentencing process. If the jurors couldn't have agreed on death than it should have automatically been life without parole. I guess Juan and the judge have no other cases that need serious attention. Juan is probably stalling on other cases which leave defendants in limbo while he drains our money on this sentencing phase. Attn Juan and The Judge: We need you sending people to jail and not spend a year on one person sentencing phase. Even if she gets death then we will have to hear from her for the next 20 years. Just for some college kid (who will then be Governor) commute her sentence to life 20 years from now. Good grief.

We Arizonans had to change our "hang 'em in the town square" when we became a State, so it does suck having to do all this due process and defendant's rights, something called the Constitution, and all this silliness when the Feds and other States tell us we're doing something they don't like.
But what are you going to do?

my random thought: Jodi was not in love with Travis. She was looking for a life-long meal ticket. I honestly do not believe she knew how to love anyone. Rejection was unthinkable to her, unless she was the one in charge.

I think it's her perceived idea of what "love" is. It's an "idea" not an "emotion" because she is incapable of forming emotions, just mimicking them.

Gonna tell you one of my little stories (even tho' you didn't really ask me a question- and y'all know what that leads to- I'm gonna tell it anyway. :facepalm

My sociology professor said that people who interrupt someone when they are talking, think what they have to say is more important than what the other person is saying.

All well and good, I thought.

When my professor and I were walking together after class, we paused outside of the classroom and we started talking about people who were wealthy- why, I don't remember- must have been something we were discussing in class. I quoted Andrew Carnegie, a gazillionaire, who said, "With great wealth, comes great responsibility". He responded that he wouldn't know what to do.... and.. I .interrupted. him (I don't remember what I said to interrupt him now)! :facepalm: I remembered, right after I interrupted him, what he had said in class and my face turned red with embarrassment. :blushing:

I like your interpretation better than my professor's. :facepalm:

I read an article about Steven Spielberg's speech on Monday, but decided not to post it because it might be too controversial because he spoke about different religions- even tho' they were radical religions (and religion is a no-no here).
