Trial is supposed to be done on February 25th................2015.

Unless there's some long hours and late days, don't see it happening.

No way in h$ll. I am thinking the 1st or 2nd week of March now. Dr. F. Will blab for a few days.

The Grandson Saga...

My daughter was supposed to be induced this morning (induction into the motherhood brigade?), they called her at 6:00 a.m. to say the maternity beds were all full and would call back when there was an opening. So far, no word. Will update as developments unfold...

:floorlaugh:

How many witnesses do they plan to call? :floorlaugh: This defense team likes to spend 2-5 days per witness. And I would not be at all surprised to see Nurms devise another lengthy motion/delay. Wait for it... :floorlaugh:

How "overdue" is she?:scared:

I think it's Dr. F and 2 computer "experts"?

A lot of "blah, blah, blah", nothing significant told in epic, sleep inducing tones with Larry picking his nose, chicken wing flapping, or Wilmont screeching, and CMJA doodling or posing for her "close up". Mustn't forget the constant "Twitter Patrol" by the DT during court proceedings.

I don't think I've ever seen a trial where there are so many parodies, spoofs, "the defendant/defense you love to hate" circulating around the web. Maybe it's the entire "disbelief factor", IDK. Be interesting to see how this case stacks up to other cases, all things considered.

With that number of "experts," we're looking at four to five full days, minimum. And that's barring the inevitable hail-Mary delay from the defense, anything extra from Juan, closing remarks, etc..

No way will I have time to follow it next week, so I'll have to check in here when I can--not that I'd want to listen to more repetition from the defense anyway.

Here's a pic of her belly yesterday and the quilt I made for the baby:

Absolutely beautiful quilt! How long did that take you? I wish I had learned how to do things like that. I am not gifted in anything. Nada... Your daughters belly doesn't look that big to me. Is this her first? With my first child, I didn't even need maternity clothes until almost 7 months. With my second pregnancy, I was already pooching out before I even knew I was pregnant...turns out it was twins. With me being so short, I was as wide as I was tall when I had them... waddle waddle..... :giggle: Caution WIDE LOAD beep beep beep

I found that panel on eBay so didn't have to piece any of the top together, it has an 'ultra cuddle' minkie backing since that's what she requested (goodness that stuff is hard to quilt on a regular sewing machine lol), and hand sewed the binding on the backside (since that minkie wouldn't behave so I could machine sew it on both side). I've been teaching myself to quilt the past about two years, nothing fancy since I'm still kinda scared about it. lol Here's the whole quilt, it was hard to find anything owl-y that had primarily boy colors but they liked this one, thought it was suitable for a macho-man to be. ;)

Twins for your first? Holy cow, that had to be a struggle of a first pregnancy Dmacky, and yep, this is her first (and my first grandbaby, my eldest daughter is still waiting for the right time lol).

They were called about an hour and a half ago, they're at the hospital and getting the inducing underway.

I've never known anyone who was induced, does it have any effect on the length of the labor or just gets things started and labor proceeds as it would have it normally come about?

Her original due date was 2/25 but she's been ready (according to lady-part measurements during the exams) for the past two weeks, the doc said this was his last day on call and if she hadn't gone into labor before this morning they would induce. I went 3 days overdue and then the placenta tore away while I was sitting in the doc's office waiting for a checkup (thought my water broke but it wasn't water coming out), had a c-section later that day. I'm glad hers won't be as traumatic and scary.

I was induced twice because both my kids were late. It gets the labor processing going. In each induction, my labor was hard but the baby was born within 6 hours.

Congrats and please keep us updated. Hope the labor and delivery is not too hard on the mother.

I was induced with Pitocin. It speeds up the contractions. They were so painful I had to beg them to turn down the level of the drug. The OB still had to break my water, then my DD decided to come out shortly after that.

Thanks for the info Kensie and Linas, they administered the pitocin a bit ago (she didn't give a time, probably half an hour or so ago) no contractions yet but probably when they come it sounds like they'll hit pretty hard. I didn't realize they continuously gave the drug once labor began, I thought it just started it and then it progressed naturally. I only had a few contractions as they wheeled me into the surgery room but it felt like my hips were being pulled right off me.

I don't know when the Pitocin stopped. They gave me a Spinal Epidural and after that, I didn't feel anything down there. They had to tell me to keep pushing. Pushed so hard I broke some tiny blood vessels in my nose, that still haven't healed, LOL!

LOL! I had an epidural with this daughter since I had to have a c-section after the first one (they cut me up and down instead of side to side because of the rush), I feel clueless about regular delivery, and we even took Lamaze classes to get all ready for natural childbirth. lol

I'm a labor and delivery nurse. Typically they have ot keep the pit going until at least the water is broken and maybe the whole time. If you stop it, it's not unusual for the labor to stop.

I see, thanks tlckgram (whenever I see your name I think 'ticklegram':)), haven't heard anything for more than an hour, hope everything is going normally.
