bender .. how far are you from Lily? Can you sit with her for a few hours and then your daughter and sister can take turns so she's not alone?

Get some sleep as you must be exhausted. :)

Not that far psychically, but a hundred miles from her if you know what I mean. It's not that we can't ,it's that CPS said no one can see her, and her nurses have been waiting for someone to care enough about her and check on her. Me, my sister , Loli and her sister would be there with her as long as we could twenty four hours a day.

I am tired. How's your arm?

Since the nurse didn't seem to know Lily was not to have family visitors, I thought maybe you could just go visit her and see what happens.

Damn arm still hurts. It's still "popping". Exercises seems to irritate it more. Have an appt. Tuesday to have it checked.

Off to bed ... g'nite!

Our Lilybug, she was to have her ears pierced this past weekend. I bought her first diamonds, and her mama's and Loli's too.

She is two and a half months old in this photo. Two weeks later and she'd be in ICU.

"The Old Days"

Grandpa was telling his young grandson what life was like when he was a boy.

"In the winter we’d ice skate on our pond. In the summer we could swim in the pond, and pick berries in the woods. We’d swing on an old tire my dad hung from a tree on a rope. And we had a pony we rode all over the farm."

The little boy was amazed, and sat silently for a minute. Finally he said, "Granddad, I wish I'd gotten to know you a lot sooner!"

"Three Senior Pals"

Three seniors are out for a stroll.
One of them remarks, “It’s windy.”
Another replies, “No way. It’s Thursday.”
The last one says, “Me too. Let’s have a soda.”

"Hearing Better Now"

An elderly man was having hearing problems and went to see a specialist. The doctor fitted him with some hearing aids that brought his hearing back to full strength.

After a few weeks the man came back to make sure the new equipment was working properly, which it was.

The hearing specialist said, “It all seems perfect. Your family should be delighted you can hear everything now.”

“Oh no,” the man responded. “I haven’t told any of them. I just sit quietly, listening carefully. I’ve changed my will four times.”

"Write It Down"

A couple in their nineties are both having some short term memory loss.

While in for a checkup, the physician says that physically they’re okay, but since they’re having trouble remembering things, they might want to start writing things down.

Later that evening they’re sitting and reading, when the husband gets up.

“Would you like anything from the kitchen?” he asks.

“Some vanilla ice cream,” his wife replies.

“Okay.”

“Shouldn’t you write it down so you don’t forget it?” she asks.

“Don’t worry, I won’t forget.”

“Well,” she says. “A few raspberries on top would be great. You want to write that down?”

“I’ve got it, honey. A bowl of vanilla ice cream with raspberries on top.”

“And chocolate sauce, too. Maybe you’ll forget that. Want me to write it down for you?”

A little miffed, he replies, “I’ve got it! Ice cream, raspberries and chocolate sauce. I don’t need it written down, for gosh sakes!”

He waddles out to the the kitchen. A half hour later, he comes back with a plate of ham and scrambled eggs, and gives it to his wife.

She stares at the plate a few seconds, then says, “You forgot my toast.”

I will not be posting the 'Do You Knows' on the weekends :) Gives me a nice break on the weekends. Will post M-F :)

Hi my YESorNO  I need to put those on my list to read. And speaking of books, I just finished one that is quite thought provoking, "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn.

Quotes:

I agree with you Neesaki, and especially today. God's laws will stand, man's law will fall, in my opinion. Another good read is by Joel Rosenberg. He's written Epicenter, The Last Iman, and several others. He also wrote the Damascus Countdown, which is what is happening in the middle east right now, again in my opinion.

Zuri, I hope I'm not hallucination, but I thought I saw a post and can't now. You're on my list so I think you can send me something through websleuths?

You don't have a private mailbox set up, so if you could do so, that would be great. Xo

Pages, if CPS has prevented you all from seeing Lily, do they have a problem with you all calling to check on her condition or speaking with her physicians? I should think not, but then again, I don't know, since COS is involved. There should be a social worker on staff that can help you. I would call the nurse's desk and ask to speak to Lily's nurse and ask these questions. IMO. Xo

Hey everyone!

Off to catch up with the Holmes trial, plus I have to re-do the Timeline for the McStay case, as I have some "speculation" on some of the stuff. So will be working hard! :D

See ya all later!
:seeya:

Pages, I have been googling. Lily may have sustained an injury to her trachea/pharynx that also affected her cervical spine and carotid artery. They typically wait to see if the neurological signs diminish and it heals on its own. If the neuro signs don't go away, they will operate. The article I read said that it can take days for the signs and symptoms to show up. I am guessing here big time. I am just so sorry.
