"Joy" doesn't have to be all jubilation and ecstacy, IMO. It could mean a sort of "appreciation" instead? So you work out, wear your work out clothes, and appreciate that these articles of clothing you wear to perform your exercise keep you covered, cool, supple (as able to move), whatever, so therefore they give you some semblance of a sort of "joy".
How about that?
Not everything gives "joy", IMO. Some things are "needs"- like tampons or hemorrhoid gel.
So do you get rid of a box of tampons because you have 3 boxes instead of 1? No. But maybe if you had 50 boxes?
Do you have 50 workout outfits or just 3 in that drawer? Do they fit, feel good when you are exercising? Good enough, IMO...

And anyway- you are exercising (something I don't do:facepalm

and that is a joy because you are
able to exercise (some can't or don't) to feel healthy, therefore.....
and there you go- your exercise clothes are "joyful".
Too convoluted reasons??? :scared: I'm trying for a reasonable answer for you. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
