At least you can do laundry while on your computer. My laundry room is in my basement... :thinking: I guess it's still there, from what I can remember hmm :wink:

Well, I have a question re #281129 prison life . Yesterday, during the heat of the day, while drinking some nice icy-cold water loaded with ice cubes, this thought came to me: I would miss ice-water if I could never have it again. Which led to this question: I wonder what kind of water JA drinks. Is it from the tap? Does she have ice cubes? May sound like a silly question, but many of us who live in hot, dry climates know how easy it is to become dehydrated and we need to sip water all day long. I, for one, could not image having to drink tepid H2O...blah!

I just will never get it. The men do anything they want, while the women are treated more or less like their slaves, and required to wear coverings and drapes over their heads. What are they doing over here? Why do they want to be here, hmmmm ? And the biggest question, why are we allowing them to be here, as though they can be trusted. They can never be trusted, they will always be a danger and threat to Americans because they hate us. The bolded in the quote above, how ridiculous, a "decision"? re Seaweed - I heard on the news the other day that they (whoever "they" is) found/discovered seaweed that tastes like bacon off the coast of Oregon or was it Washington (?) !! I'll pass... :sick:

Well - the Huz FINALLY got an appointment with the local clinic for his back pain!! :gaah: it has taken so long for them to squeeze him in. I don't think he's going to see his "regular" doctor, but he really doesn't care. Our roommate gave him some pills last night that REALLY helped his back pain. It was Tramadol (50mg) and Brelotin (10mg x 2). He's going to try and get a referral to see an orthopedic back specialist! Everyone probably knows about "referrals", right? another :gaah: So hoping they get the ball rolling, as he hasn't been able to cook for the last 5 days... fast food for me... another :gaah: :laughing:
My parents would have been married 72 years today!! Happy Anniversary to my Mamma and Tete. :confetti:
Here's a picture they took at their 50th anniversary in Riga, Latvia where they were married. It is the first time in 49 years that my father was back in his homeland!
