EYE ART
My name is Tal Peleg. Art has been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember myself. I love illustration, photography and makeup, and the eye-art is my way of mixing all of these passions together by using the eye as my canvas.

Makeup is an amazing form of art, and I use it in order to make my eye tell a story. I don’t just paint on the eye, but try to use the shape of the eye and its natural curves as part of the illustration in a creative way.

Inspiration is all around me, and I give my own unique artistic interpetation using makeup. It can be inspired by emotions, movies, fairytales, animals, food, important social matter and more. I create all the eye-art on my own eye, and I use mostly eyeshadows, eyeliners and watercolors, and of course – super tiny brushes. It takes hours of work, and lots of patience, but I really enjoy every moment of the process!

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since DH retired, so far, we are getting along just fine LOL.

Today DH, SIL and 2 oldest granddaughters are driving over see the St. Louis Cardinals play tonight. They girls bought DH and their dad tickets for the game as their Father Days gifts and they decided tag along. I will really enjoy my 'alone time' today and tonight Not use to having hubby around 24/7.

HAWAIIAN LEMONADE
Great for all our summer events, parties, picnics, reunions, baby/wedding showers and etc

INGREDIENTS
SERVINGS 6 UNITS US
6 ounces cans frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed......
3/4 cup water
1 (12 ounce) can apricot nectar, chilled
1 (12 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
ice cube
1 1/4 cups ginger ale, chilled
lemon slice (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a pitcher combine lemonade concentrate and water; add apricot nectar and pineapple juice.
Stir well.
Add ice cubes, ginger ale and lemon slices to garnish and give another quick stir.
Serve immediately.

And did you watch the match between Wawrinka and Nick? Wow ... Nick apologized publicly and privately to Stan and has been fined for his behavior, but the amount of the fine hasn't been released.

Will see if I can find anything on the dress.

Quiet day here. I guess that's a good thing!

I absolutely love living in DC in August. This is how life should be. Congress takes a very generous 6-week vacation from doing nothing (on our dime), and their staffs also leave the area. Traffic is much lighter and drivers are far less aggressive. It's a welcome change from the normal dog-eat-dog.

Also, I don't know too much about how the seasons change in other parts of the country, but August through September here the weather is perfect! It's so wonderful to sleep with windows open and no artificial climate control. Ahhhh! I'm going to enjoy every day of this respite to the fullest!

I really haven't had issues with WS's unless they did tech work on the server, haven't had problems with posts not posting or huge waits while the site spooled up.
Now, it may be cause I have Ad Blocker?

But, yes, it does load faster, just like everything else with Win 10!

YoNo is still having bandwidth issues because Windows 10 keeps trying to download on her computer. How frustrating is that!

Well...I am not a happy Windows Camper! I knew better than trying download Windows 10!!!!!! Nothing but a nightmare for me. First of all, it took 10 hours, then all I have is a flashing home screen. Turned the dang thing off and now all I have is a blank screen. grrrrrrrr (I'm on my tablet right now). I cannot get to any of my files or anything on my laptop. Going call Microsoft...wish me luck. I want my Windows 7 back ASAP!!

Well...I am not a happy Windows Camper! I knew better than trying download Windows 10!!!!!! Nothing but a nightmare for me. First of all, it took 10 hours, then all I have is a flashing home screen. Turned the dang thing off and now all I have is a blank screen. grrrrrrrr (I'm on my tablet right now). I cannot get to any of my files or anything on my laptop. Going call Microsoft...wish me luck. I want my Windows 7 back ASAP!!

More than once, even went into safe mode. Finally connected with MS Tech Support and it was my Norton's Anti Virus program causing all the problems. He walked me through the steps and I'm up and running with everything like it was. Thank goodness!! One think I do like is that I can switch over to Windows 7 format in my browser.

I remember someone posting how you turn off where the new Edge Browser tracks your moves...whoever posted that bit of info, could you PLEASE repost it again? TIA

Thanks for the picture! YES! I was watching the Nick vs Stan - I couldn't believe what he said!!!???!!! I believe he got fined $10,000, but they are still thinking of "banning" him for the rest of the season, so I've heard!

No, no new updates on the Huz... I'm going to bug him today to reply to Zuri!! Kick him in the :behind: :lol:

Oh - I cooked dinner the other night - Australian Hearty Mince!! It actually came out pretty good!! Even the Huz ate some!! I did it!! :happydance:
