For two hours, alone, blasting, you say? Unless you've just read Jonathan Livingston Seagull, that could hurt.

Spellz, will you sit for this?

hehee..... I will take Sinatra once in a while, or when relaxing on a restless evening. But give me country and oldies if it is going to last for two hours, or some jumpin' rock if I have to do heavy cleaning!

:gaah: I need help from my tech-savvy SB friends. I am so annoyed!

I have been having so much trouble with the pages closing on me, and then totally losing my replies...so deleted my history and cookies, and lawd knows what else I have deleted. :scared: I used to always stay logged in. ALWAYS.
Now when I come here, I have to put my user name and **password in, even though I checked the "remember" me box.

AND also, now EVERYTIME I come here it is a light yellow color at the top (I want my BLUE back) and it a totally crazy format, sometimes I even get the half page text with all those ads back on the right side. I finally figured out on the bottom of the page of the crazy format, there is a FULL SITE version, when I click it, it goes back to my normal WS version that I loved and miss. But if I close it, even though I DON'T LOG OUT, I have to do the very same thing above every single time.

I have a herniated disk that is pinching on the nerve root. I am going to PT 3x wk. I cant sit for very long at all, so I can't read here very long. Of course right before my daughter moved out in March, her laptop stopped working so I gave her mine. Now I am stuck with only a desktop = sitting. Sometimes I stand in here and look down at computer because I am going through WS withdrawals.

** I swear it took me an entire day and multiple tries to remember my damn password. I had lurked here since 2002 before I got the nerve up to register in 2012.
And since I never logged out, I totally forgot it :banghead:

Please help me, I spend half of my "allowed sitting time" just trying to get things back to my "familiar," normal WS page.

Okay - off to wake up the Huz and get him to his Hemotologist (sp?) appointment! Hope he has some good medicine for the Huz!

Good Morning my beautiful Sidebar Friends. I made the doctors release me 4 days early as I couldn't take it much more. It was not a smart move on my part. Ten days with no sleep did me in with the addition of Solumedrol 80 mg., which is a massive massive dose. Your messages to me were related and I am so deeply moved and Grateful. I have no air to speak, but have an O2 tank keeping me at 97% on 5 liters. I can't move very much and I am just exhausted. I actually scared my DH and doctors with how bad this got.

Bright side: Things are being taken care of that should have been done years ago. I am looking forward to redoing my house if I ever get that far. My DH has actually made me more of a propriety which has been a long time coming. Changes are afoot, slowly but surely. Hope you all are enjoying the nice fall weather. I need to change my pocketbook over from summer to fall. If that is the worst scenario, then I think I am gonna be ok.

I love you with all my heart. Xo

So glad to hear you're home, and welcome back! But what an ordeal you've been through, and it sounds like it's not over yet. You poor thing! I do hope you husband and kids are taking good care of you. Did you ever get a diagnosis? Not that I'd want you to share it here, but I would like to know if they were able to nail it down. At least that way you'd know what you're in for going forward.

At any rate, please take it easy and get well. Everything else can wait. :)

Yipeeee ZURI, so good to know you're back. :loveyou:

But, hold on, Coffejunkie is right: "YOU take care of YOURSELF and let others worry about things..." Promise???
And re BBM... I'd need some help. I don't understand that sentence.

Tomorrow I finish school already at 10 am and I will take advantage of the beautiful automn weather to spend 3 days in Valais in a chalet belonging to a couple of friends (who were living 50 years in Vandoeuvres...).
Let me try wether I can put a pic here with the view from the living room:

Hope it worked... Doing this for the first time...

That looks absolutely beautiful! I hope you enjoy your time off.

Feeling so bad for what you're going through, Dmacky. I did PT 3x week for 9 months and it was torture. I hope you get well soon. Back problems are the worst!

I am sorry that so many people are having problems with this page. Also, surprised that some are people on iPads. I am on a macbook pro and very rarely have problems. hmmmm....

I wonder if a new thread would help. There is a lot in info on this one, and I don't know if that bogs it down.

Well great minds think alike. I always read backwards.

This is a random observation: You know how we're a close-knit group here and we feel like we know one another pretty well? But the fact is that we wouldn't be able to spot each other if we were walking down the same street.

I just mention it because I was sick the past 4-5 days and have been watching a lot of television. It probably differs a lot depending on what channels you watch (or get), but I have noticed these Judge Julie commercials for Liberator Medical.

I know this woman is a lot older than her, but when I hear her talk, I hear Bernina! Then, as you watch the commercial, she's got this small, wiry frame, and she's doing all these ranch chores, I can't help but think of Bernina!

I do have to apologize, though, because apparently she was a lower level Houston-area celebrity with a cable show about hunting, so I think that disqualifies her from further comparisons. Indeed, the extensive and life-threatening injuries she suffered (which required a colostomy, etc. which are what the commercials are about), were from a hunting accident.

However, I did find something redeeming about her in that Kinky Friedman held a fundraiser for her (since she didn't have insurance -- WTH? she was a judge?), and had to undergo dozens of surgeries. If she's good enough for Kinky Friedman, she's good enough for me. :)

So, Bernina, is she anything like the real you? Or the real you several years from now? Can you see or hear any similarities?

Just curious... :)

Well this won't work with me - this is on websleuths and it's stunning. How can you get your arm that far up there? What is wrong with people? Take him out and shoot him now, and that would be being kind.

LOL!
Yep, she's quite a bit more weathered than me, probably because I've been throwing on the ol' SPF 45 on me for the last 30 something years, and I'd be clueless to figure out what her age is. There's gals out here who are 35 and have been "sun weathered" big time.
But, it would be a pretty good comparison.........I just don't say "dang", I'm a little more colorful, and haven't gotten to the stage where I've decided long hair is a problem yet. Making adjustments sitting down, pulling my jeans on, *let your imagination go from there, using
el baño is interesting*, has become second nature.........and the red hair.

This is me and Patty, the draft horse, about 6 years ago. At 5'1, I could stand under her jaw. I'm 10 lbs lighter now (quit eating ice cream, *sob*), but it doesn't make a heck of a difference, kinda makes me look like I should ride shetland ponies, lol!

You posted some photo's of side and back views of you watching Kissy? and Zuri after she was born? Your hair is a lighter red than mine and wavy. You look familiar to me, but I can't place who yet. I know I've seen them in a movie or the news. I'll go looking.

haha! I have never understood the word "dang." And while it seems to be prevalent across the country, I don't think I've ever used it. If I'm around people who might take offense at the word "damn," I'll use the word "darn." But for the most part, I try to spend time with people who don't mind actual curse words...

Glad you haven't cut your hair off. Mine is now a bit longer than shoulder length, but that's just because my regular person was unavailable when I had a job interview, so I went to a Hair Cuttery and wound up with what I called a "female mullet." Ugh, that was an awkward period. I let it grow out until the top length was long enough, then had them cut the bottom part off. Letting it all grow back out now. It used to be quite long.

Unfortunately, the pic of you and Patty didn't come through for me. Just the blue square question mark icon...
