Morning!

well... first - the Huz is NOT feeling ANY effects from the new red-blood cells... he says he still feels the same as he did last Friday when he saw his hematologist... and now they have given up on him, and will be moving him to a nursing home to get physical therapy so he can walk again. He can't get up or walk... I'm so disallisioned (sp?) with the hospital doctors... :gaah: hundred times over!! :gaah: I don't know what to do now... The hematologist wants to do a bone marrow biopsy. He has to do that in his office NOT at the hospital... so HOW is the Huz going to get there if he can't even walk!!???!!!!!! The Huz just wants to come home and end it all.... another :gaah: and he will do it, I know...

okay - sorry for the disappointing news...

GigiG and Jasper - report these people to the Mods - that is NOT the way WS is run!! another :gaah:

that's all I seem to have today... :gaah:

but...

I'm so sorry Niner...will be praying for you and your DH.

Niner, sorry for the disappointing news about your hubby. I know how frustrating that can be. I hope the bone marrow testing is able to determine the problem(s).

Sending more JINGLES your way. (((Hugs)))

Here's a new quiz for y'all to take: :)

What secret emotion are you hiding?

http://www.littlethings.com/secret-emotion-quiz/

My Result: Love
"On the inside, you are truly full of love. You are a kind and warm individual. Since you have such a beautiful and open heart, there is no reason to hide it from the world. Let your love out for everyone to see!"

I think it nailed it, not that it's a secret, lol!
Me? Amazement:

On the inside, you are truly full of amazement. You have a curious and open-minded soul. With such wonder brewing inside of you, there is no reason to hide it from the world. Embrace the curiosity you have for the people and things around you!

Bernina, I agree 100% with your post. Great sleuthing is what it takes to solve a case. I welcome the opinions on motivation etc. that some members have put forth as it makes for greater discussion and sleuthing, but those members are no longer posting.

I am trying my best to not use the ignore option but just may have to bite the bullet and do so. That, or leave the thread altogether.

I, myself and other members have reported posts and they have been removed. Kudos to the mods here. It's a never-ending cycle, though. I think the problem stems from Facebook members that have recently signed up here. They've got so many FB pages/groups about the case and Websleuths is mentioned in many of them. Most of the stuff being discussed and posted on FB is pathetic to say the least - they're grabbing screenshots of anything and everything and basing their opinions on that info. MSM very seldom comes into play.

This is the kind of stuff I see being posted. Some members aren't reading the MSM reports, just posting what they've read on FB pages/groups etc. It really makes for meaningless discussion and sleuthing a bunch of BS.

As for asking for an explanation, it's been done and the responses ended up being removed. I don't know what it's like to literally be in a nut house, but this thread has got to be the closest I'll ever get to one!

That being said, the threads have been cleaned up but like I said it's a never-ending cycle.

Here's the thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...unbar-Blanchette-2-Blairmore-AB-14-Sep-2015-2

BTW, Bernina, your furbabies are beautiful and your hair is gorgeous! I had hair about the same length, many years ago, and my dad nicknamed me Hippy!!!

I just perused that WS thread and can see what you're talking about. One poster in particular stood out to me...

Ok, I know that thread.
I shied away from it after I read "I heard" and "I read" and there were no links, that's all it took.

Hey all!

BBM 1 Mds don't know everything; if they did, they would be God, IMO.

BBM 2 Oh dear. :sigh: and :therethere: for you. There's not much more I can say to make you feel better except that I'm praying for your DH and you. :heartbeat:

And a :gaah: from me, too. :blowkiss:

Thanks YESorNO! I have another update on the Huz, I hope you all don't mind my saying all this about my Huz, I just have to tell someone!! :)

Okay - when I went there this morning, they hadn't yet and still don't have authorization from the insurance to move him to a physical therapy facility, but one has accepted him, so like I said :waiting: for insurance to okay it. That would be MediCal... So this morning, he wanted to go home for a couple of hours, and than have the ambulance pick him up and take him to the facility. Oh, No, says the doctor, nurses, they can't do that, or insurance won't pay for it. Okay, so he says, I'll just be going home than.... :gaah: (I'm thinking!) He is very stubborn today, and also depressed. He told the doctor he was depressed, and she was going to give him a pill, but of course, the Huz HATES to take any kinds of pills and he declined. Anyway, after thinking it over, he decided (thank you Lord!) to get transferred to the facility, and they will take him to the Hematologist for the bone marrow biopsy! YES!! The Russian doctor and hematologist are working on it now!! YES!! I hope so! So he is waiting :waiting: for the insurance to do their thing, and he told me to leave his clothes on the bed, and he'll get dressed and wait... It's not that far from here, so that's good news! I HOPE the biopsy will tell us something on what the heck is going on with him!! :gaah: so frustrating. Okay, enough.... sorry...

GigiG, did you see Netanyahu speech at the UN? And Russia not bombing ISIS, but those opposed to the current regime, that is Iranian and Russian backed.

Did you know that the Bible says something terrible is going to happen in Damascus. The world's oldest continuous lived in city, mentioned in Genesis, will never be lived in again. It will be be a ruined heap. Some think that Israel will make a preemptive strike, and then all nations will turn against her.

I saw this morning! And if I'm remembering my Bible correctly... When Morag (Russia) from the north and nations on the east and south of Israel invade... the end of the world.... do I recall that correctly?? :waitasec: Scary times...

Oh, and I'm JOY! too!!

and ILikeToBendPages - you've been posting most of the songs I have on my CD in the car! And yes, I do have Sea Cruise on there!

Okay - going to take a time out and do something! I told the Huz to call me when they were about to move him...

Later! :seeya: Oh - only when I read the next page; I forgot I was going to post the first page first, and than read the next page... and yes, WS is going screwy! :pcguru:

Niner, I am at a loss as to what to think. I am so sorry the transfusions have not helped and I do understand his frustration. Wrapping you in a gentle hug and a big hope you two can get through all this unknown stuff to find the reason for his decline. Come here as often as you need for an extra hug or comfort, luv. We will all be here for and with you. :grouphug:

That "glass butterfly" is so interesting and I think I may have seen one last year, though I could not figure out what it was. Thank you!

Niner, please don't let him give up, at least just yet.

What I would really like you to do is to try and talk him into going to the place for physical therapy (better to not call it a "nursing home," and also, remind him it's just temporary), then scrounge up enough money to hire a medical transport service to take him to the hematologist for the bone marrow biopsy. Here is a YP listing for your area: http://www.yellowpages.com/auburn-ca/medical-transport

Maybe you can convince him (with the simple logic) that it's foolish to give up without knowing the whole truth; without knowing that he has no other options available. Also, there's the undeniable fact that you love him and need him.

I think anyone who has ever lived long-term with an illness or injury at some point falls into that fatalistic kind of thinking. It's hard to remember how great it is to be alive when you feel god-awful. But if someone waved a magic wand and made everything all better, most people would be very happy to still be among the living and to have a new lease on life.

Although he has been feeling miserable for some time now, which would make anyone want to throw in the towel, giving up shouldn't be an option until all hopes of a cure (or treatment) are ruled out. I fervently hope you can make the arrangements necessary to get him to that hematologist

ETA: I wish Zuri was here to offer some better medical advice or suggestions...

I hope that the stuff I post is interesting to others. I agree about the "sour grapes" that they write about JM.

I had more stuff to post this AM, but WS was acting screwy and I gave up and went away.

Now it seems that a certain someone stopped his assault on JM and is after Sheriff Joe. Take a look:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has always done it his way

THE OFFICE OF 'AMERICA'S TOUGHEST SHERIFF' HAS COST THE COUNTY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, AND HE MAY BE FACING HIS TOUGHEST COURT FIGHT EVER.

He's always so long winded, isn't he (maybe wants his Pulitzer so badly???) :sheesh:

Sorry, Niner. I posted this before I read your update. So glad he is complying, albeit grumpily. Prayers and fingers crossed for good news in the coming days!

YesOrNo, I very much appreciate all your posts ~ Thank you!

Thank you for posting this very interesting and informative article, coffeejunkie. The dead turkeys are disturbing. :turkey:

I have never liked margarine and have always cooked and baked with butter; olive oil is a big staple too. I buy the unsalted sticks and always store in freezer and take one stick out at a time and keep in a butter dish at room temperature. Butter will not spoil and it's always soft and spreadable. :moo:

Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake, how dare you. I have a can of pumpkin too. :lick:

You are welcome and :welcome4: to the Side Bar

Niner ... your current update is looking much better. Keep us posted - we love ya!

I have a zero clearance fireplace on the main floor of my home. The blowers need to be replaced. I called around about replacement blowers and the cheapest was $269.00 each - I need two.

Where I live, there is a general store, two restaurants and a hardware store. I called the hardware store last week about replacement blowers and the owner (whom I'm friends with) says "Jody, you just called at the right time. My heating rep is here right now and I'm inquiring about the blowers". In the meantime, I had dropped off the manual for the fireplace. The phone rings about 15 minutes later and the owner asks if she can send the Rep over to take a look at the blowers to which I responded sure. Rep comes over, takes pictures and says he will do his best to find replacement blowers.

I just had a call about 25 minutes ago from the local hardware store. Their heating Rep found the blowes and they're $69.00 each. I told her she must be mistaken, but she said no, that was the price and did I want her to go ahead and order them as they are a special order? I told her "of course"!!!

The sad thing is the $269.00 blowers were "universal" blowers - what a rip-off. The $69.00 blowers are the OEM blowers.

It sure pays to shop around.

Niner, you said "so frustrating. Okay, enough.... sorry.." (BBM)
Now my friend, I am going to scold you a tad. Don't you ever, ever apologize for venting, ranting, or sharing here. One of the smallest things we can do for you and feel a tiny bit useful is to be here and to listen and care. So don't deny us that ..... we are family, and we love and support each other through thick or thin. Always will, my dear.

Glad to hear he is gong to willingly try the rehab. Now to help him through the depression. Fingers crossed tight for ya.

It's a steady rain here, not too bad, but I hear downtown is flooding and streets are closed. I won't flood where I am. Bought some food and 2 big bags of ice just in case, but can't get to my big cooler cause I aint gettin' on a ladder!
