And lastly, a test:

Reading the mind in the eyes test:

You are shown 36 pairs of eyes and have to choose one of four words that best describes what each person is feeling or thinking - for instance, jealous, arrogant, panicked or hateful.

The average score of around 26 suggests that the majority of people are surprisingly good - though far from perfect - at visually reading others' emotions:

My score: 32 (out of 36)

Wonder why it took me to sign in to facebook. I don't do FB. Anway, I missed one, thinking of going back to see what it was but they probably change them up?
My score, 35. These quizzes are fun. Thanks Y/N :)

One more thing: :sheesh:

Now you're making me cry, Y/N . What an awesome, faithful fur baby.

I remember that taffy. You could still buy it at M E Moses up until the eighties. There was also Big Hunks, candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars, and they still make atomic fireballs My father favorite orange slices.

I've seen you on some of the same cases that you have. Way too many babies are being killed.

My grandma always had candy, the coconut bon bons and those orange slices, BPages. I ate that because I just liked candy :) I also liked Pixie Stix and loved Almond Joys. And those candy cigarettes too, but I had to sneak them because my mother said they were bad, LOL. :)

Good Afternoon my SB family!

Pneumonia Update: Thank you again for all your Jingles!
Went to the doctor today and had a chest X-ray and it is clear! I can now go to PT to get stronger, starting off in the pool. I am still oxygen dependent as I get short of breath on exertion, but I only need 2L which is awesome. Hopefully I will deflate as my Prednisone doses are tapered. Nothing fits and I am so afraid my leggings, which are stretched to the hilt, are going to roll all the way down. Now that might cause others PTSD...

Have been behind here but so glad you're x-ray is clear! :happydance: Sending Jingles your way right now, Zuri ! Keep getting better, lady!

Any mention of dementia is scary---I fear that disease so dang much!

I'm so sorry Zoey- I know how you hate anything about Alzheimer's and dementia :therethere: Dementia is scary, but more so for the loved ones than the people who have it, IMO. The people who have it, eventually, do not realize that there is a problem and live in their own world (maybe not as bad as it sounds). Unless it is hereditary, no one will know if they will get Alzheimer's/dementia, so worrying about it and for your future will rob you of "today".

Are you worried that you will develop dementia?

So glad Hatfield stopped by too and told us about that trial. After this last trial by tweet, I have taken a long break. I couldn't even watch the You Tube videos of the trial after they were released. Did any of you watch them? Is is a worth it to watch and if so, which parts? TIA

I didn't watch them- because of my BW and because I was so burned-out with the trials. Frankly- I had enough- I cried "Uncle". :(

Still the same--we are currently considering Daughters car the "Edward Scizzorhand" car--shes had offers to fix it but thus far-------:gaah: And being Wednesday---:(----live if a very fun house! As I've stated over before--depression is contagious and I still think we are still overwhelmed by my husbands major PTSD depression and all the other garbage--- (Wednesday he has his "group" and I don't see any major change---just lots of heavy sighs) But he does bond well with the Bunny ---- (I hate bunny--bunny mean and another thing I have to clean up after)---As you can tell still not overly cheerful on my end....sorry..,......

BBM I agree with you. It must be really hard to live with a depressed person. Depressed people can make un-depressed people feel kind of put-upon and exhausted, and un-depressed people can make depressed people feel exasperated because they think others don't understand. It's a problem, especially if you are living together and can't catch a breather from them.

Don't be sorry for not being cheerful- you are submersed in a problem that's hard to fix and it surrounds you everyday, so try to give yourself a break and don't feel you have to apologize here, to us.

I'm really sorry you're going through this :(

Well, I have had NO success with spanx. It pushed all the fat either up or down and did nothing to hide my flaws. Perhaps my flaws were too much for the spanx or they didn't make spanx big enough or with enough stretch. One of The spanx rolled all the way down and the other only went half way up and got stuck. I had to call for assistance...

What is Spanx- is that a girdle -with a new name

Have any of you seen the new Lincoln MKZ commercial with Matthew McConaughy getting dressed in black tie? You see him put his contacts in, see shots of his shoes and watch, closet, etc. OMG, this has to be the sexiest commercial I have ever seen and there is nothing evocative about it. It is in black and white and IMO pure genius from an advertising perspective.

If you have seen it, did you pay attention to it or am I on too much medication and not enough oxygen. Or maybe all that boy toy talk....

You mean this one?

You obviously need a cold shower my dear (but Mr. McC is very hot, IMO)

I wanted to try to share some pictures of my Guinea Bird who likes to look in our living room window. LOL I don't know if I can be successful but will give it a try.

If you are looking for an interesting case, this one might be it.
Massachusetts: Phillip Chism is on trial for the 2013 murder of his beautiful 24 year old teacher, Colleen Ritzer (he was 14 at the time). Chism tried to use the insanity defense, but has been declared competent for trial. He is thought by some to be a manipulative person. It appears there was a lot of violent behavior in his household, parents divorced not long before the murder.
Really Big Mean Dog is covering this one as she did with JA, with her unique sense of drama and humor: http://reallybigmeandog.com
Today's court proceedings are on Court Chatter's YouTube: https://youtu.be/YMnGICn5voo

WEBSLEUTHS forum: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eacher-murdered-by-14-year-old-student/page17

Prosecutors are expected to show the jury school surveillance video in which they say Chism is seen following Ritzer into a school bathroom, wearing gloves and a hood, then walking out of the bathroom alone 12 minutes later.
The day of the October, 2013 murder, Ritzer had asked Chism, on of her 9th-grade algebra students, to stay after school. Hours later, the body of the popular 24-year-old teacher was found in nearby woods, partly covered by leaves. Authorities say she had been raped and her throat had been slit with a box cutter. Near her body was a note reading, "I hate you all."

1979 - 3,000 militants overran the U.S. Embassy in Teheran, Iran. They captured 54 embassy staff members. Religious extremist and Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini praised their actions. The militants demanded that the Shah of Iran, who had ruled for decades and was now seeking medical treatment in the West, be turned over to them for trial; that the United States apologize for crimes against the Iranian people; and that the Shah’s assets be given to them. The Iranian Hostage Crisis, as it came to be known, lasted 444 days, ending on President Ronald Reagan’s inauguration day, Jan. 20, 1981.

That's a great pic. Thanks for posting, Mr Hatfield, and welcome back to the SB. :)

We have lots of deer here in the mountains and forest where I live, but it's hunting season and everyday I hear the rifles shooting (The Queen is deathly afraid of gun shots :( ).
I hate hunters. :(

Just one more picture in case people have not had dinner yet LOL
