She could in fact have shot first......and then had the gun jam (or maybe she was shaking too much, or something). She picked it up again later in desperation: this time it worked.

BBM - I always figured she may have tried to shoot him first but it jammed or she screwed up releasing the safety, but had her faithful knife in an ankle brace and as he tried to get out of the shower to stop her from trying to shoot him again, pulled it and plunged it into his chest. He likely did fall on her at that point(shock and slippery wet floor) but she kept stabbing/slashing at him as he tried to roll away and then used the sink to pull himself up to propel himself down the hallway to the exit as she kept attacking him. Once he collapsed from the loss of blood and probably oxygen, she slit his throat, dragged him back likely using one of the sheets to help leverage him, picked up her gun, released the safety or unjammed it and finished him off with her FU shot("still hate me brat!"), then started her cleanup. Anyway, I believe the actual shot was last simply because of the autopsy report.

"The wound track perforates the anterior frontal skull near the superior orbital bone and
traverses the right anterior fossa, without gross evidence of significant intracranial
hemorrhage
or apparent cerebral injury(although examination of brain tissue is somewhat
limited by the decomposed nature of the remains). The projectile re-enters the facial
skeleton near the midline and the wound track terminates in the left cheek."

Great way wake up this morning...someone stole our car last night (the Pontiac), set it on fire and left it! Hope they enjoyed the ride...grrrrrr Sitting it on fire makes me wonder what they were trying hide!!?? This doesn't happen around here :( We feel so violated...

OH NO, coffeeJ!! I hope you have another car and insurance that will cover this one ---- but it never works out to our favor. Why would they burn it? And pick this time of year? And the more I think about this, the angrier I am for you. I am beyond sorry. (We once had a car stolen from a parking lot, but it was never found.)

Oh no, Coffee, what a horrible news! I'm so sorry for you.
I wonder what's the point of doing things like this. So senseless.
Will your insurance pay for it?
Big hugs, dear Coffee!

I concur.

DMACKY, just to let you know, it always does my heart good when I see that you've posted something here. And even if I don't put it in words very often; I think of you, worry about you, care about you, and hope for the best for you and your family.

Oh Spellbound and Gigi You all brought tears to my eyes
HAPPY tears :heartbeat: Thank you for your heartfelt words. They meant more than you could ever know. :loveyou:

UPDATE: Police was just here and asked permission treat this as a crime scene! They are going try and lift fingerprints off and state fire marshal is involved...wonder what's going on??

Heard from our Nore yesterday and she didn't say if she was home or not. The test they done has came out ok. That is good :) Just hoping they fine out what is the problem. She is really stressed out about Molly and needs all our support, love, prayers and jingles.

Oh NO Coffeej, I am so sorry to hear about your car being stolen
*Questions for you:
Was Mr. Coffee  warming it up, and someone hopped in and drove away, or did they just hot wire it and steal it? Did they drive it through out the night and then leave it somewhere and then catch it on fire?
Did the police find it, and call you (after you had called them to report it missing this morning?)
How far away was it found?

*Now, are you wondering why in the heck I am asking so many questions?

I honestly was not going to post about this, (Debbie Downer)but now that it has happened to you, I will.
Last Saturday morning, my daughter was getting ready to leave for work. She started her car, and then realized she had forgotten to put her wallet back in her purse. The night before, she grabbed only her wallet to go and FILL UP HER GAS TANK. So she ran back inside to get her wallet...as she was walking back out the door, some %^*%%% PERP was jumping in her car as she was running out screaming...I was right behind her and she/we witnessed him peel out of our driveway and take off...she was running after him, but he was fleeing the scene at a top rate of speed and was gone in a flash.

One thing IN OUR FAVOR was we live next door to a cop, who was able to get a BOLO of her license plate number out very quickly.
I will explain more in next post as this is a long one.

spoiler alert:
* We DID get the car back, 5 days later and luckily he was still driving it...they arrested 3 people.

* Also the car reeks of gasoline, especially the trunk....
more to come.
Sending Hugs to you my friend

An Inmate Dies, and No One Is Punished

"DANNEMORA, N.Y. — Inmates who have served time at the Clinton Correctional Facility here tell of being taken aside by a sergeant soon after they arrive and given a warning: Cross the guards, and bad things can happen.

And they do. Inmates describe being ambushed by guards and beaten, taunted with racial slurs, and kept out of sight, in solitary confinement, until the injuries inflicted on them have healed enough to avoid arousing suspicion..."

A life in prison

"MUNCY, Lycoming County – Mary Jane Fonder doesn’t mind spending the rest of her life behind bars.

After more than 20 years of struggling to find acceptance among the members of her small, rural Springfield church, Fonder, 67, finally has found sisterhood at a state women’s prison.

The murderer, once described by her own attorney as the “aunt nobody wants to sit next to at Thanksgiving,” now has her place at a table of women who do not judge her by her strange ways or even her most evil act.

Fonder said she no longer can imagine her life outside of prison.

“I feel like this is my destiny, like God wanted me to be here,” she said last Sunday.

Fonder, the Kintnersville woman who a jury convicted for the cold-blooded killing of Rhonda Smith in the office of their Upper Bucks church, said she is happy now.

She finally has come to accept responsibility for the murder of the younger woman who she irrationally thought was a rival for the attention and affection of the congregation and its pastor..."

Woman's arrest no surprise to some

"...Bell became well acquainted with Fonder after the mysterious 1993 disappearance of her father and recalls her being ''agitated'' during his department's intense probe of that case. Fonder, now 65, accused police of harassment and wrongly treating her as a suspect.

Police never determined what happened to Edward F. Fonder III, an 80-year-old retired machinist, in a case that went cold years ago.

But now they say they're looking at it with renewed interest...

Fonder maintained that her father walked out of the house to get the morning paper at the end of their driveway and never came back. She said he disappeared about two weeks after a disconcerting visit from two female cousins and a period of hostility toward her.,,"

RoseMarie (Rose) Siggins The Woman with Half a Body

Rosemarie (Rose) Siggins – Sacral Agenesis

"Born with a rare genetic disorder known as Sacral Agenesis, Rose had severely deformed legs with feet pointing in opposite directions. There was no feeling in the legs and, as a child, she was in danger of harming herself. When she was two years old her mother, after consulting with the doctors at the hospital, decided that the best course of action was to have the legs amputated. This insightful decision by her mother allowed Rose to lead a fairly normal childhood..."

Catnip - Simon's Cat (A Christmas Special!)

Hatfield .... are you the one who has those new-fangled Christmas laser lights for outside? I think our neighbor has just one --- it seems very muted, not at all bright. I actually was a little disappointed. I don't know if there are adjustments to them, but these are just blue and red as far as I can tell, and do not light up the entire house as much as I expected. I would like to see them add more. But they are very pretty, and you will probably enjoy them. Happy Holidays to you!!!

I agree with you. As we were a little disappointed they did not do better/brighter but they are a great supplemental lighting which is very easy to just plug in and to me they are just neat. LOL

There are different makes and models. Our is the "Star Shower" model which are real lazer lights. GREEN + RED color. Some other models are not real lazers and some have different colors and some move around. Ours is just stationary lights which we like because we can point them where we want and they stay there.

I do agree that they are not as bright or dramatic as we thought they were but what we did was get 3 of them and keep them close to the spot we want to illuminate which makes the lights more shiny. Lazers are neat to me so I kind of like them. But they do shine small lights and we were surprised you cant see them as much as we thought we would from the street view.

We put up regular lights with it and they do add a good supplemental lighting. It helps fill in areas that didn't have lights so it makes the whole scene more dramatic and since we have 3 of them it really helps.

We like is the ease of just plugging them in and they stay on the ground.

But I saw on the news AGAIN over the weekend how they said aircraft pilots are beginning to have trouble with these lazer Christmas lights. I would not doubt if they soon start to ban these.

I made sure ours are pointing down and not up in the sky. It is a little hard to do because the top of the lights are hard to keep just on the house. They really need to make them better to chop off the top part. Because in order to keep them on the house only I had to point them too far downwards.

And they really do shoot the lazers in sky if you point them wrong. I went in backyard and noticed certain lights going way back about 300 yards and it was from my lights. LOL
I had to adjust them so they would not shoot where I didn't want them.

They need to make them better in the future so its easier to not hit things you don't want to hit.

Oh and another thing I really don't quite like is getting shot in the eye when I go out the front door. Not good. LOL

ETA: Added summary at top.

Just wanted to add 1 really neat thing about the Star Shower Lazer Christmas lights.

The best use of them is when you shoot 1 of them at a large evergreen Pine tree. It is so cool as the wind blows the needles of the pine tree, the tree just glistens and sparkles with the lights. Next year, I may shine 2 of them at this 1 large tree to really light up the tree.

The wind moving the needles makes it way COOL.

ALSO, rain.....OMG. When it rains out, it looks like snow crystals lighting up. It is way cool. I don't like having any lights on in the rain and as I went out to shut them off it was so cool to see how the rain was lighting up with these lazer lights.

I bet a foggy day would be really neat. I cant wait for a foggy night. LOL

Its hard to get pictures of them and the website link below does a better job of showing how they look than any picture I could get.

If I can ever get another rainy day or some fog and I am able to get some cool pictures I will try add some here. Until then, the link below shows them better than I could.

CJ, I am so sorry that you are going through all this nonsense with your car. It sounds like some teens with too much time on their hands. Oh my. I highly doubt you have any enemies.

Dmacky, I can't believe someone would have the audacity to jump in your daughter's car and take off. I leave my car running when the dogs are in it in the summer time. Only an idiot would jump in with two large German Shepherds and try to steal it. Unless the keys are in the car, you can't drive it (it is keyless and senses the key). I am glad your daughter got her car back. What a headache.

Yo No, I hope you feel better. With the weather being so warm and temps up and down, viruses rear their ugly heads and hopefully, not many will be sick for Christmas. Thanks again for the book report. It was really interesting.

Sorry to hear of the auto theft.

Many years ago I had that happen and the feelings of violation were very upsetting.

Hopefully it was just random and hopefully you have no more problems from those same criminals. Lets hope LE catches them and charges them.

Maybe you can find out why LE is doing the crime scene thingy. If you call the right LE person you may be able to get more information about that.

In the old west days, they used to hang horse thieves. Isnt a car a metal horse with horse power?

Maybe not hanging but I do think LE and our laws need to make the penalty more severe for auto theft. Much more severe!

ETA I still get mad and feelings of violation about my car getting stolen all those years ago. It shows how this crime really affects people. I have done good to forget about it but when I get reminded like now then the feelings come back. Mainly feeling so violated. We all know how hard it is to purchase a good vehicle and when you are able to get one and pay on it for 5 or 6 years of monthly payments and then someone takes it in the blink of an eye. Its very traumatic.

Where's the rope and nearest tree for those who steal cars?

Sending Hugs to you my friend

First off...so glad your daughter got her car back and neither one of you were hurt or in the car when they took it!

Will tell what we know so far...around 2:30 am hubby got up to smoke. The wind was blowing something fierce and the trash can had blown across the street. He went out and brought it back and the car was in the drive way then. He woke up at 4pm and the car was gone! He did leave his keys in the car (under the floor mat). He called the Sheriff Dept and reported it stolen. The guy on dispatch this am was a friend of ours and he said that they were just going call him and tell him his car was stolen and burnt. Police came by and took a report. Then around 8am another cop came by and asked for the permission. Fire Marshall is involved because they used gasoline start the fire, arson. The car is in lockup and we have not even seen it get. Hopefully some fingerprints show up (the car was not totally burned). Someone in that area seen the fire and called Fire Dept. They found the car in a neighboring town about 6 miles away. Just crazy! We do not know much of anything else...
