Send her a picture of the pool... With words to "The Weather is I wish you Were beautiful. "

Yes!

"Jodi:
This is one of the 1000 Places I will see before I die. Unlike yourself, staring with your icy soul into a concrete four-walled cell with a freezing steel toilet for the rest of your days. Cheers!"

Who said that the inmates suffer from heat stroke? Have a link?

An inmate was left outside in a caged area and died from the sun. Theres a few videos on youtube about Perryville prison. The biggest problem they have is the gang members. They are brutal. Prison officials tallk about all the empty cells in max security. Thats where they should put the gang members.

CMA is in Estrella. She will receive the needle in Perryville probably but so far, she is still in 23 hour lockup.

As long as you have been here, why would you provide a "blog" as something all us beautiful smart people here would consider in the court of law and as a fact?

I am just sharing, sorry. :blushing:

I thought it was a good read.

I worked in a very large prison in inland Ca....very hot. There was no air conditioning. They had large fans...sitting at each end of a long tier. The fans were not pointing at the cells. They cooled the hallway. It was very hot. Staff had to pass them ice water, koolaid, on the very hot days...x2 a day.

The inmates are monitored more if they take meds because certain psych meds can raise the body temp. However, there is no place cool to put them. They all adjust to the heat...as CMja will.

As thousands upon thousands have entered and lived to offened again in Joe's jail. Pink shorts, oh my, and that special loaf of surprise they might end up with.

One woman did die I think of heat exposure though. I remember when they started using the tents. It's been something. The inmates speaking out was like me stuck in the desert on a hot day. It's not fun by all means but we adapt, we live. They lived. jmo

She will end up there and it will get hotter in July!

It starts to go over a hundred degrees in May. Arizona is in a desert.

At Estrella? Please provide link.

No, at Perryville.

http://solitarywatch.com/2010/07/26...highlights-summers-deadly-toll-on-u-s-inmates

"In one high-profile case in 2009, Marcia Powell, a 48-year old inmate at Arizona’s Perryville Prison, was baked to death in the midday sun. Powell, whom court records show had a history of schizophrenia, substance abuse, and mild mental retardation, was serving a 27-month sentence for prostitution. On a day when the Arizona sun had driven the temperature to 108 degrees, she was parked outdoors in an unroofed, wire-fenced holding cell while awaiting transfer to another part of the prison. A deputy warden and two guards had been stationed in a control center 20 yards away, but nearly four hours had passed when she was found collapsed on the floor of the human cage. Doctors at a local hospital pronounced Powell comatose from heat stroke, and she died later that night after being taken off life support. (Two local churches stepped in to provide a proper funeral and burial.) The Maricopa County Medical Examiner ruled the death an accident, caused by “complications of hyperthermia due to environmental heat exposure.” This despite the fact that Powell had blistering and first and second degree “thermal injuries” on face, arms, and upper body."

Hi night owls! Are some of you all posting your pics as your avatar? TIA, going back to see some faces to put the names if so.

May have been a good read for you but it has NOTHING to do with the situation that CMA is in right now. Are you saying that it is Sheriff Joe's fault if she happens to die from heat stroke somehow? Come on.

No, Jodi will not die of heat stroke while she is in Estrella. Sheriff will make sure of that imo.

However, moving to Perryville will be rough for Ms. Jodi.

If I may expound on my last post a little - Wasn't it CMA that wore the sweat pants and long sleeves during the murder of Travis and showed up in Utah the next day wearing long sleeves in 100 degree weather? Since when does the heat bother the CM?
Oh, yes, she will and can take the heat.....JMO
