I scrolled through all the pictures. It's even more dreadful than I thought! I can not imagine spending even one night there! UGH!

We don't have to spend one night there.
We did not murder anyone or do anything against the law.

So the ball's back in the defense's court. Maricopa is going for death, and now it's up to the DT to decide if they want to hope for one or more holdouts on the 2nd trial, or just make a deal.

From JA's position, she might as well make the deal. Even if one or more jurors to vote against the DP, she'll still end up with Life. However, imho, her DT will not make a deal because then they can soak the county for more months of billings.

Call me cynical.

Don't worry....I had a colon resection due to precancerous legion and have to have a colonoscopy every 2 years. It always takes me longer than expected to come out of the Anesthesia and I am goofier than normal the rest of the day.. The worst part is the prep. She has to be able to pass gas before she will be allowed to leave. She didn't go alone did she??

I can't imagine she went alone but I didn't think to ask. I'm 99% sure her boyfriend would have taken her but I don't have his cell phone number. My sister does but now SHE isn't answering her phone! :banghead:

60 isn't old, my hubby's 61, and I'm 52. Age is all a matter of perspective.

OMG - why is she still not responding then???? I would think if she went in really late, she would have let me or my sister know. I didn't even think to ask who took her there!!!!

She just makes everything sound so "not a big deal" that I didn't think twice about any of it. UGH!!! I HATE THIS!!!!

Call the person who took her! Your mom's phone might be in a locker or turned off and she can't hear it. I wouldn't worry at this point. She's probably fine, and sleeping off the anesthesia. Keep calling the person's phone who took her.

Absolutely, positively agree! HLN and TruTV have become nothing more than a joke now. I miss the old days. Sure want Beth to have a job she deserves and that utilizes her talents well.

Hoping you hear from your mother soon. If you don't, your could call her primary doctor and they may be able to help. They may know who is doing her procedure. Keep us posted!

That's the problem - I have no clue who her primary doctor is or where she even goes!!!! I feel like a horrible daughter right now...

I wouldn't get too excited about it. They're not going to tell the defense if they've decided not to re-try the penalty phase before they would absolutely have to. What leverage would they have to negotiate a lwop deal if they did that? jmo

You'd think that criminals would think about these things BEFORE they commit a murder, but obviously NOT! They think they'll never get caught - and then WHAM!

Jodi has no remorse what-so-ever for what she did to Travis, but I wonder if she sits in that nasty jail and ever thinks to herself "What I did was so not worth it!"

IT took me like 2.5 hours and I was sooo hungry when we left for home ..I remember them positioning me and then waking up ...

That is so funny. As soon as they wheeled my husband up to the car and loaded him in - he asked me to take him to the Chic-fila drive through! He was starving because he hadn't eaten since 10 PM the night before!

The actual Colonoscopy takes about 30 minutes and you will be in the recovery room for approximately 30 minutes more. However, you should allow two to three hours for the entire process of check-in, procedure, follow-up and discharge. Because of the sedation, you must have someone drive you home after the procedure. Even if you feel alert, your reflexes may be impaired for the rest of the day.

:seeya:I had only had an endoscopy and was there for over 3hrs.

BTW I will forever sing the praises of whatever anesthetic they used! I had an IV and the nurse said you should start to feel drowsy, I looked at the monitors and was ready to start firing off a 1,000 of questions about what is that, is that the camera, where does that go, how do you keep my mouth open... I didn't get own word out, Lucky them! The next thing I remembered was the original room I was in. I woke up and wanted to go back to sleep it was the best sleep I think I have had in years!
