This is what I'm listening to now (I swear I'm turning into my mother)

This is a group from Italy- I call them my 3 sons from Italy. Give them a try (don't throw tomatoes).
Il Volo - Un Amore Cosi' Grande (Live LA Showcase) - YouTube

No tomatoes from me! That was fantastic - what beautiful voices! Were these the kids represented by Simon Cowell? These are very talented singers, and such cuties too. (My being Italian has nothing to do with it - well, maybe a tiny bit)

I love all sorts of music and don't care what genre, era or artist - as long as it's good and makes me feel something and I love to be exposed to something I've never heard before. Thanks so much!

Here's a little something for you, from my beloved Luciano... I cried like a baby when he died:

For all you youngsters out there: This is what I was doing in the 70's. Great times.

Big Depeche fan, saw them numerous times live during the 90's, great live band. You wouldn't think a synth band would work it but they did, and still do. Oingo Boingo, same deal - lots of energy. Now Danny Elfman is married to a Fonda and scores movies in his sleep it seems like. Still listen to everything from Chuck Berry to Daft Punk.

*sigh* I guess I'll keep that Dead Kennedys/Black Flag punk lovin' seat to myself though.

Ooooh I love Depeche and Oingo!

It's a dead man's party...who could ask for more? LOVE

I'm also a Nine Inch Nails girl :blushing:

Luciano Pavarotti - La Donna È Mobile (Rigoletto) - YouTube

Il Volo just came out about 2-3 yrs ago. They were found on the Italian "Americas Got Talent". They were all contestants and became a hit.
I love, love, love Pavarotti. I told my sons to play Pavarotti for me at my funeral.

Simon Cowell did not sponser Il Volo, but this group, Il Divo (who I listen to, also);

I'm much older than most here I assume(70) but love music. This isn't the 80's but I love this by Shakira when she sang it for the people of Haiti during their disaster.I would like to dedicate it to The Alexander Family and how all of us feel about them....the words are so fitting I think....
I'll Stand By You- Shakira - YouTube

It's always a good time for Shaki!

OK, my fellow synthfan/sleuthers, how about this blast from the past? My very first concert was Thompson Twins, and OMD opened for them--Ynot swooned immediately!
