Just read that Jeffrey Dahmer's childhood home in Ohio is for sale.

Casey likes Ohio, doesn't she?

Just sayin'...

Drew Peterson might be looking for a new wife if he gets acquitted...wouldnt they make a cute couple?

Please don't wish either of those two on my state...an isolated island for two in the atlantic sounds better.....during hurricane season :please:

I have said it before, and will say it again: Defense attorneys throughout time have helped guilty clients go free. It is their job to get the best deal they can for their client and sometimes that means a guilty person going free on a technicality; other times that means saying or doing things in hope of raising doubt. The difference I see in this case, however, is that the tactics that the defense felt had to be used did not make any of them sick or disgusted. Most attorneys who help get a guilty person off are not happy about it...they do not go out and celebrate when a killer walks free. They often walk away from their client once their job is finished, and never look back.

I remember the psych doc whose anxiety over the thought of having to be "the vector for lies" in this case rose to the point of making him physically ill. That doc did his job and wrote the required report based on what the killer had told him, but he did not feel good about any of it. He saw KC for what she is: a killer without remorse, a person who is willing to say or do whatever it takes to put the blame on someone else.

Baez et al could have done their job and then walked away from this killer. Instead, they choose to champion her to this day. She is a child killer and they know it, and they are not bothered by that. As her representatives at trial they had no choice but to do whatever they could to assist her legally. But since trial they are defending her by choice, and that speaks volumes to me about their character and integrity...or I should say, lack of.

BBM- I couldn't agree more. From growing up in the home of a defense attorney, I saw firsthand how it wore on my father. He was ready to retire at 48 after his first heart attack.

I hope she moves to Hollywood. TMZ and ROL can be her best friend. She can make money by "tipping" off the photogs ... that'll work for awhile. Then, like most of them she will self destruct. I am betting on it.

I really like Hal. He has this entire families number!

Amazing, wasn't it that the A's scrapped a car just because of some old Pizza box/garbage smell...?

I think George scrapped that car to spite Casey. I think he went to Ashton to congratulate his win for the same reason. He does not forgive Casey for what happened to his beloved granddaughter.

I thought they did it so no one but them, got any money off of Caylee's coffin. A rolling crime scene.

I wonder if George made sure that it was savaged and crushed? I mean just ordering the junkyard to not sell anything off of it right?

I wonder when parts of the car show up on eBay.

... but maybe instead of doing things to spite Casey he should have actually stood up for his granddaughter and told the truth... the whole truth. He knew about the fights and animosity between Cindy and Casey... he knew the stuff Casey pulled as a child. He could have admitted to her stealing EVERYONE IN HER WAKE BLIND... and so on, and so on, and so on. George won't get a pass from me, not in this lifetime. He spent Caylee's entire memorial begging the public for love for the daughter he spites. What a poor, poor excuse of a human. I won't even call him a man, cuz in my book he is not. He cow tows to Cindy and her sickness and contributes to the enabling. I feel nothing but spite myself for George. In fact, I would cut off my nose to spite my face just to make the point about him!

The car was crushed. There were pictures of it at the time, and the crime-scene tape was still visible in the pictures.

I'm so sorry for him and others like him. I get the whole upholding rights and all that being a very important job to have, and in a perfect would it should be done by someone with a conscience that does it very well...BUT I can see how, with a conscience, it could tear up someone's soul and quickly.

I could not bear it if it was me.

Not exactly true. The day her probation ended, she could have gone to any state and gotten a driver's license there. Who says after her probation ended (or was within 30 days of ending) she didn't establish residence in another state?

She also could have gotten an address and a drivers license in any state before her probation started. While by Florida law, if she did that, she needed to turn it in and get a Florida license within 30 days, but would you trust her to have done that? If she wasn't doing any driving (which she most likely wasn't doing while on probation) who in Florida would know she had an out of state license?

Just because some one is a resident of, and is working in Florida does not mean they are required to have a Florida drivers license. That is only a requirement if they are driving in Florida.

If not driving (which she most likely wasn't doing while on probation) there is no requirement that on has a Florida driver's license. Many people that do not drive have only a state issued no drivers license id, rather than a drivers license.

She is required to have a Florida license - http://www.123driving.com/drivers-handbook1.shtml#renewlic she has been resident more than 6 months
and is 'working' there.

Most if not ALL states require proof of residency for a license. The felon wouldn't meet the requirement anywhere except Florida.

Yes, you can have both a Florida State Id and a Florida Driver's License. Depends when the two were issued. I have both.

"Florida driver licenses and identification cards remain valid for customers currently holding both. However, when you apply for a replacement or renewal of either, you will have to choose which card to retain. We can no longer issue you both."

https://ffdhsmv.custhelp.com/app/an...se and florida state id card at the same time

I wonder if she has a valid Florida ID? Maybe thats why she hasn't renewed her license? Cause in FL, you can't have both...

Florida does not issue non resident driver's licences. I believe they stopped that in 2009.

BBM If she is driving...... why would you assume, while she has been on probation, she has been driving. How would Florida know if she had, say an Ohio drivers license, unless they caught her driving with it?

As far as I know dmv's don't have reciprocity with other states as far as who does and does not have a drivers license.

If she is driving in FL she has to have a FL license. It doesn't matter if she has a license from any other state. Even if your not a resident of FL, if you work here even temp you have to have a non-resident drivers license.

Do we know where she is living now? Or in the 30 days since her last report? Plenty of time to esablish residency in any state. Or where she was between the time she was released and then had to return to serve her probation? Again, plenty of time to establish residency some where other than Florida.

Seems pretty easy to establish residency in Ohio.

Thanks, Okie for posting this...

Casey Anthony: What will her conditions be?

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...asey-anthony-what-will-her-conditions-be.html

I hope the general public lets Miss Anthony know how little control she has.

Thanks RR. Just jumping off your post, not attacking you ( I have felt kinda snippy lately so I am trying to cover all bases. BIG HUGS )

From your link
Charles Greene, another Anthony attorney, said she met all the terms of probation while living secretly somewhere in Florida.
About that.
Um, no really she did not. She never got a job,or studied, or did anything that showed she was gonna be a productive part of society.

:moo: and all

Snipped respectfully and BBM.

If for nothing else, thank you for clarifying that. I saw that you had referred to her being released, and also saw 30 days and I was all *WHO SET HER LOOSE EARLY???*

And then I reread things and calmed down.

I can guarantee that <modsnip> doesn't have any of the docs above. Remember she is not a contributing member of society, she is what you call <modsnip> society. I can guarantee she will never hold a decent job or do anything to redeem her reputation. All this time while on probation she hasn't looked for a job, got any kind of therapy or done anything at all to improve herself. Unless you call the piercings an improvement. LOL. She probably thinks she'll get by on her looks. GAG!!!

<modsnip> :floorlaugh:

Is there anyone still posting on Caylee's forum that had experience or volunteered with TES?

I went down that list and said "nope, that one doesn't apply to Casey" to every single one of them. So I'd say it isn't easy at all for her to get a DL in Ohio.
