I just read on another forum that the Ocean Woods condo she is staying in is owned by David Deese. The same guy that took the A's to the Bahamas by private plane, and gave George his latest job.

I had to get up and come in to my computer to post this. I am watching JVM about the Jodi Arias trial. The pictures that were shown the jury....explicit photos.....

And to think that JBP would not allow some of the photos of FCA pole dancing because they were too inflamatory. Also, the jailhouse video....too inflamatory. OMG. I am getting mad all over again. Maybe, just maybe if those jurors had seen half of the things we had seen over the course of those 3 years, it might have been different.

IOW FCA had been tried in Arizona. Or maybe it was the fact that the trial was televised that made JBP do some of the things he did.

I loved him during the trial, but now....IDK.

As I have stated previously, I am in Ocean Woods twice a day, and have been for the last couple of years. I walk two dogs an hour two times a day there for a handicapped/disabled lady who lives there. I find it highly unlikely she is living there; it is a very close knit community where pretty much every one knows every one else. There is absolutely no internal gossip about Casey Anthony living there, and it's not because they respect her privacy, imho, it's because she is not there.

On facebook it is being speculated that this is a funnel for blood money for Casey. (Obviously rumor and speaks to the fact that with this gang, many seem to have little trust.) So, what did JB want with this author in 2010?

I think the fictional book is DISGUSTING - supportive of Baez - makes Baez think he is important [NOT!]
Baez was bragging on his Facebook that his law firm is now on Twitter, and also about this fictional book.

I am so glad you are keeping up with this. If no one did, it all would just be forgotten. I would think that even collection agencies drop cases after a while.

I am curious as to why they would threaten to take away her license if she didn't have one. Maybe they know more than we are able to access. Just like her probation records, they may be withholding license records too for her own safety because of address location, you know!

Wasn't there some speculation a long time back that this $23,663.34 was money owed by her attorneys for copies made of documents? Maybe this amount was paid by the State after submission of bills from the attorneys?

If all fees are billed to the same case, how can we determine which are the attorney costs and which are assessments FCA must pay?

Checked on the "true story" and it could be true - date wise anyway.

According to Wiki, JB got out of the navy in 1989, began college and graduated in 1997.
Amazon says the hardback book was published in Sept 1994.

At least, we know it's not like the national enquirer/examiner that he saw the headlines before it was even printed.

Author Grippando wanted to do a NON-fiction book on the Casey Anthony trial, and had discussions with Baez about it.
But then the New York Post reported that Baez was meeting with Grippando's book agent Richard Pine of Inkwell Management, and the public was outraged and flooded Richard Pine with boycott threats and anger, and then all deals were OFF for Grippando to do the NON-fiction book -- so he wrote his FICTION book based on the Casey Anthony case and Baez.

Interesting that author Grippando was on MSNBC Morning Show ... and MSNBC did the supportive documentary of Baez, based on Baez' book.

Is it just me or am I the only one that thinks FCA is really and truly old news? I mean, if a network or publishing house paid big bucks for her story, I'm afraid they just might lose their azz.

Unfortunately there is always the next big thing. Or, next big murder trial, I should say.

Yeah, that was hysterical, as is his concern about (wrongful) convictions allowing perpetrators out on the street to commit more crimes. Wrongful acquittals don't, huh?
