According to this article in a Tulsa newspaper on 7-27-08, Joe Mosher was at work when he heard the 911 call and then went home. He also states that Vicky made the call.
How would he hear the 911 call?

Last week, the OSBI released part of the 911 call reporting the slayings in the hope that someone with information about the case would hear it and come forward.

Mosher said the 911 call was made by his sister, Vicky Placker, Taylor's mother.

"When I heard it, it shocked me," he said. "I was at work, and it turned my stomach to hear it. I had to go home."

What I understand him saying is when he heard the released 911 ( my words call last week........)

Could Lanita possibly be Juanita's real name. You know how some kids want to change their names as they get older............maybe a combination of Linda/Juanita?
Lanita is Lanita Sue Bateman - and that is her legal name (under which she is imprisoned). She was 19 (BD 1-12-82) when the murder she is in prison for happened (Jan 1 2002) - she is now 26. Her 1st possible parole date is in 2040, she will be 58. She is not a Paschal OR a Placker by name, but one is likely her father since she is referred to as "cousin" by Linda. Her Mother is Nora O Bateman (OKC) and she has a brother and sister.

It's really unfortunate but it illustrates how the people AROUND us can ruin our lives. Lanita will basically spend her productive adult life and childbearing years in a max security prison because of the people she chose to associate with when she was barely out of high school. She has forfeited everything because she decided to hang around with (and date) murderers, criminals and gang-bangers. The two guys she was with got the DP and LWOP. The other girl (mother of the guy on death row's son) testified against all of them and got immunity.

Some reporter said recently that the Placker and Paschal families have their own "Welcome Mat" in the criminal justice system - that's never a good thing, especially for the children.

My Opinion

Tremaine me & my oldest son, when i was still out in the world

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=194656370

Ronnie Wipf was murdered and his friend Arnold Kelinsasser robbed in their room in the Ramada Inn after Lanita and Brandy Warden pretended to be prostitutes and set the two men up to be robbed by the Wood Brothers. Wipf was stabbed to death.
Brandy Warden (the mother of one of Tremaine's sons) turned State's Evidence and was given immunity

A source has said that the reason Skyla was at the Placker home was because her mom and step-dad, Rose and William, were going to pick up her lil sister, Jayme, out of state. Skyla stayed with Taylor while they were gone and had been there all weekend, not sure how many days. The source said that when the family had initially taken Jayme that they'd been in a car wreck and totaled their car. When they went back to pick up Jayme, she said she couldn't wait to see her sisters. When the Whitakers returned from getting Jayme is when the call was made by Rose that they would be coming to pick up Skyla.

Hey ya peeps, I've been reading here since the board came back up but haven't posted. I'm halfway to catching up for today's thread but just wanted to throw in a comment. Yall have been talking about the clown groups bad/good....I haven't seen anyone mention this, but don't you remember in Skyla's Funeral Guest book was that somewhat spooky clown. I'm at work and can't go look, maybe someone can find it. I thought it was spooky at the time.

Dont live there. Used to be a local, sorry! Hevent heard anything. I dont think they hear much.

I'm not pointing fingers, and I am not saying I believe this is our guy(s) but we have been concentrating so much on revenge, that I dont want you all to forget about the old man in the woods.
I have been told by locals, in the past, that his crimes should have ended him up in prison more than once, but instead, he was delared mentally insane, thus avoiding imprisonment. I was also told that his wife accidently chocked on a weiner and died, and that wasnt investigated well. Also he had 2 daughters taken from him due to molesting them. when they were young.
Could it be he kept hearing the girls, watched them through the woods, and eventually snapped?
I just dont want you great sluethers to dismiss this possiblilty. Could the poi just have been someone who was seen on Bryant Road earlier, he had to relieve himself, so he turned off on what he thought would be a more private road, parked the truck at an angle so he could do his thing and the girls wouldnt see him, (since whoever called in saying they saw him (the poi) said the truck was parked almost blocking the road and the girls were STILL ALIVE at this point) That maybe he backed up in a turnabout fashion and went back the way he came so he could procede on to where he was going? I just see this as a possibility and dont want to lose it due to focusing too much on other things.
But still, it puzzles me who called him in. His truck and appearance is so generic, but then again, it COULD fit the description of LOTS of people and vehicles in the area, and most other areas to tell the truth! Maybe he was just down there visiting someone, had a background, and is afraid to come forward for fear of being accused.

I still can see in my head this old crazy man in the woods.... following... watching, snapping! No telling how many days, weeks, months, he had been watching. How does the mind of a madman think? Hearing the things I have heard about him, I wouldnt want to live anywhere near him! Maybe that is why Placker's are moving. I dont think this man has been cleared. Could he have been carrying more than one gun? Hmmmm overalls have lots of pockets. What was he wearing? Why would he have more than one gun? He's a hermit. He may have lots of guns. and in those woods, and that creek there, it would be easy to dispose of some. Or go home and then drive down to the river. Splash, splash.... GONE!
Just something to think about.
Sry for the long post.

Frog, you make some very good points there. I wonder how close the girl's playhouse was from his property. He would have certainly had access to the area and known it quite well. He could easily have had a pistol in his pocket and been carrying a rifle as well.

Yes, the post in the GuestBook has been discussed.

You mentioned in one of your posts, that's now deleted that you live in McAlester and travel to Weleetka on a regular basis.

Hear anything interesting in your travels?

Yes, I do go there often for work. I haven't recently as I have been dealing with my 12 year old black lab that died. Just have taken some time off. Still, I have been reading. Nice to be back

Nothing official. I do know LE is working this case like there's no tomorrow and they are determined and quite sure they will solve it.

Oooooooooooooooh you have a point there. Thank you very much. I probably shouldnt worry, but then again, this is a double murder case by someone obviously not concerned about life.
Thanks, hun. :)

Many of us have been discouraged about the "criminal element" surrounding this case. But....it occurred to me today that maybe this can work to our benefit! If this case has - or - even doesn't have - anything to do with a "revenge" killing, perhaps those family members who are incarcerated will hear something that pertains to it? A "jailhouse snitch" could come in quite handy here - possibly???
