The victims family has no right investigating this crime. Only a few are privy to all the evidence. This falls on them and I am positive that they are going to solve it. There is too much information about this case as it is for the public to see. Most of it contradicts itself. There is nothing on this website or the interwebs that proves who murdered that girl. Anyone could make a case on who did it but another piece of information is out there to contradict it. The experts seem to say that DNA is the turning point in the investigation.

Whats clear to me on the status of this case is the conspiracy, that keeps it from going anywhere...

I just think this is wrong. The police have the evidence and any evidence that came from the Ramsey's would probably ruin the case to begin with. Paid professionals with the expertise needs to get off their fannies and solve this case.

You are right Roy and therein lies the problem. The Ramseys and their team have managed to taint just about every witness in the case. How could anyone take them to trial having no clue what kind of garbage they had planted all over Boulder? Think about FW for a moment. I have no doubt that he knows exactly what happened that night but even he can't do anything about it. He also knows how corrupt the system in Boulder is so his hands are tied as well! Boulder is corrupt staright up to the governor's office and this little girl's justice was just not important enough for anyone to rock the boat.

I will say this for you, though: at least you recognize that they had probable cause. Some IDIs won't even acknowledge THAT.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your book is of no consequence to me. Alex Hunter believed the Ramsey's were involved. It is documented. I am certainly not defending the guy or any action of the DA's office or BPD. As far as I am concerned, they all sucked.

One thing they did, though, is get some of the most renowned experts in their fields to testify. But somehow we know they told Hunter he might ought to hold off. Whether that means they didn't pass the Ham sandwich rule or they couldn't prove their case will be debated.

But why oh why does the current DA and the previous one before than one take the Ramsey's to trial? I am no book author but I have common sense that answers that question for me.

I'm sorry, Roy but it would amaze me if they don't have the dna sequence. After all, the da's office gave them everything else they had and let's not forget that Lacey was still in office at that time. Heck, they probably gave her the dna to test!

Oh I know very well this case will never go to trial, dna or no dna. The only hope we have of knowing what happened that night is that after JR's death, BR needs money enough to write a tell all.
