if the judge said wouldn't allow testimony why was he allowed to take the stand?? am I missing something?

I'm in the dark too newone, he was muted and that's all he could say. I'm surprised the judge didn't want to hear his conversations with SD, it's not like she has to withhold from a jury. :dunno:

Back to your post em, just wanted to say a bit more. It is a shame that sexuality can be such an issue, but I wonder if it's even a bigger issue in Dewani's mind. He's been described as a 'nazi', a perfectionist by Anni, probably has a severe form of OCD, very controlling, yet his fetish is to be humiliated and downgraded. I don't know, must mean something. jmo

This fetish seems to occur when a young guy is developing his sexuality (first getting erections) and he is sexually abused in this fetish sort of way. Then this is how he later becomes sexually aroused. Or he reads about it and then he becomes addicted/stuck/fixated on it having been first sexually aroused in his teenage or younger years by this sort of thing rather than meeting a guy or girl with whom he develops a healthy sexuality. It would be interesting to know about his earlier sexual experiences because I have counselled men like this and healed it with acupressure therapy (EFT). If it is about about male first doing it and abusing them, they think they are gay but, of course, they could have also been born gay.
