Her parents approved of what she did - maybe lots wouldn't, but HERS did. And they are the ONLY parents who matter.

Why are people so offended at nudity? Paintings and statues all over the world where women are displaying their privates and THEY aren't considered "sleazy" - and don't give the "art" excuse either, when those women were posing a few thousand years ago I doubt the public considered them "art" then. Nudes are nudes no matter what CENTURY they were immortalized in.

Kudos to ALL the women who didn't pose for Playboy - but that was YOUR CHOICE and I for one, am glad you had that choice to make. However I do not think that choice makes you a better person...just different.

And yes, the Burka is valid comparison. Right now smoking, which is legal, is being banned in places considered private property. And people are just sitting back and allowing that "right" to be taken away because smoking is dangerous for some people and purportedly is dangerous for people around the smoker - even IN OPEN AIR PUBLIC PLACES. We'd better be careful because that's a very slippery slope. What is to stop Playboy from being banned because it's "dangerous" for some men to look at? Perhaps it might soon be dangerous for scantily clad women to be in public because some viewers might become aroused and uncontrollable - can't allow THAT. And what's to stop bikinis from being banned in public because THEY are dangerous for some men to look at and offensive to some others - both men and women? Smoking is just the latest "prohibition" and the darling of the politically correct. Next it could be some other legal but controversial vice - like girlie mags and gentlemen's clubs.

Europe quit worrying about nekkid pictures a LONG time ago and wow, the worlds oldest cultures have not collapsed into moral decay and madness. Holland - where live sex shows, marijuana and prostitution are all legal and ADS feature half naked women is still flourishing after centuries.

Many people love the idea of subjecting others to OUR way of thinking, no doubt. Happy I don't feel the need to do so myself. And no, I don't think that posing in Playboy dooms the girl to a life making 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 films - big LEAP there and not supported by the history of the thousands of girls who have appeared in the pages of Playboy thru the years. Based on what I do know, it probably dooms her to a marriage to someone with money and power who wants a trophy wife. I'm thinking there are worse fates.

So, I am not climbing up there onto high moral ground - it's a nasty fall and I certainly have no intention of risking my neck balancing up there just to snark, feel superior and make ugly comments about someone I do not know and have no right to criticize. I don't find that saying things intended to make someone else feel bad for doing something she wants to do and is legally allowed to do, the least bit rewarding personally.

My Opinion
Hi Flowerchild, the whole point of a forum is to discuss pros and cons. So to speak poorly of posters in a personal way for having a different value system than you do is uneccessary. I don't think many of us give a hoot(er) what this gal does. But I can only speak to what I feel about it, which is why here is a thread about Ebbert open for discussion.. I am discussing the girl in the article, you are discussing the posters that disagree with you in a negative way.
comments like the ones below make it tough to advance the discussion. Please don't make it so personal. We are just discussing what we might do faced with similar circumstances or our hopes for the youth that we are shaping. No right no wrong, just different attitudes and opinions. I value your opinion. :)

If I could afford it, lol; I was wondering if anyone has seen the magazine yet, and wondering whether her breasts are really, as implant-obvious, as they were in the teaser on the Playboy web site.

playboy.com

Just curious, honest. I would never pay money to find out.

Oh well, she peaked out already, and it is all downhill from here. Maybe a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 movie is in her future. No doubt she'll get an offer. She's an aspiring actress you know.

She soon will need a sling for each one, the laws of gravity apply to implants as well; in fact the shirt she was wearing looked a little like a sling-type support get-up of some sort.

Just joking around; I'm not sure the pilot should have called her on her dress, looked like everything was covered but I don't know I wasn't there. You can't change huge 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬; although many would choose more conservative attire in accompaniment to THEM.

IF she was embarrassed maybe she would think more in the future of what her attire was suggesting, but now she's been REWARDED - so there ya go; that's the way our society is, just look at the magazine covers. Bimbo-ness can pay off; no doubt about it.

Oh! I see I misread your meaning of "downhill", he he.

Great post Jbean! It's not so much what she wore that caused the major ruckus, she is the one who went on the media circuit to fight her little battle, she had to know there would be pros and cons to that.I also think we were lied to,with every interview she did,her skirt got a little longer with every show she ws on...I'd still love to see any security camera photos of her at the airport that day,I'll bet it didn't look like the same outfit she was wearing on tv.

Those airbrushes do amazing work. My ex was an artist and I bought her an airbrush, and also a smaller compressor.

In her teaser photo on the Playboy web site, those suckers looked like they hurt. It looked like the skin was complaining about what was being done to it, all stretched out like that.

I wish I could just get a good daily airbrushing. You know, wash my face, brush my teeth and airbrush everything else.

They did look painful Buzz.Like they were stretched to the max.

Geez, I have seen more skin on the red carpet than she was showing on that flight. Would I wear what she was...nope, but I'm a long way from 23 and at that age I wore some pretty sexy stuff out at night myself. If you've got the body, are over 18 and it covers as much as a bikini what's the big deal? Unless we are all for women wearing a BURKA in public we'd better think about condemning a woman for baring all in a magazine that's been tastefully (and successfully) featuring nude women (including Marilyn) for what, 50 years now?

She wasn't "going out for the night" she was on a day flight for a doctors appointment! She should have been covered up... I've seen a LOT worse... pretty much beachwear...on flights.
