Wow quick memories of the miracle rescue with baby Jessica. Okay, so it wasn’t as deep, but it was more narrow. And 30 years later. Wow, You would think by now, safety measures would be in place.

(Jessica McClure Morales (born March 26, 1986) became famous on October 14, 1987, at the age of 18 months after she fell into a well in her aunt's backyard in Midland, Texas. Between that day and October 16, rescuers worked for 56 hours to free her from the eight-inch (20 cm) well casing 22 feet (6.7 m) below the ground.)

I remember being glued to the TV over baby Jessica. I immediately also thought of that when I read this headline!

Right but if he’s already dead there wouldn’t be this race against the clock and risking their own lives to try and save him

Day I had my baby oct 14 1987. She was there 56 hours. So sad for Julen 12 days. I’m still keeping hope for a miracle. Until we know different.

I expect that someone caught the Tweet here, but when Julen’s father was taken away by ambulance, one ambulance remained at their home, standing guard.

The capsule spent a longer than usual 3.5 hours below, Julen’s father needed medical attention within this timeframe, the officials are pointing lasers at the cameras that are live-streaming, @SURDirecto is reporting a flurry of activity at the scene...

UPDATE #Totalan: Since the capsule came above surface at 01:56, there are a lot of people around the well. The capsule is now going down again, after being above surface for 20 minutes. There are still no official updates about whether the miners have located #Julen or not!
