It is so hard to look at Julian's photo without breaking down. I'm so concerned that Julian was the little boy that was lying dead in the street that the kind man refused to leave because he looked like his son. It is so distressing.

Actually, the boy is at hospital, alive but injured.

The father had the news right from the start but the other family members didn't know.

Un niño de siete años identificado como Julian Cadman había sido reportado como desaparecido por su abuelo, que difundió su foto por redes sociales y dijo que en el momento del ataque estaba en La Rambla con su madre, Jom Cadman, una de las heridas. Los Mossos han asegurado este sábado que el pequeño está en el hospital y que desde el principio tuvieron comunicación con el padre.

I hope with all my heart this is true I'm just being cautious due to his mum's injuries. Hopefully we will get an official confirmation soon to clear up the confusion.

Update | The finding of seven-year-old British-Australian Julian Cadman, who was missing from Barcelona after the attack, is still unsuccessful. Spanish media reported earlier that he was found alive, and British media also seemed to confirm that. However, the British Foreign Office now reveals to The Guardian that nothing is known yet.

Well, LE confirms that he was on the list of injured.

As I say before, I trust much more Spanish MSM on this topic than English MSM.

Spanish ambassador in Australia is too far away for the most accurate info.

By the way, this journalist can be rude and unprofessional on Twitter. Another reason not to trust him over this topic

I do not understand the logic on why Julian's father would keep the fact his son was alive but injured from his family. But I hope and pray he is alive.

By everybody except the Spanish media. Including the British Foreign Office.

Julian has NOT been found, and I don't believe that the local journos know more than the entirety of the Australian, British and Spanish diplomatic services.

Giving false hope to the family and friends is very cruel (and for all we know, they could be reading this), so I hope you are VERY confident in your assertions, Giucy.
