Has anyone noticed that Peterson allegedly found her car at an airport? One that just so happens to have a web camera in the parking lot that doesn't record the images? An airport that doesn't have a tower and doesn't keep records of flights? And oh yeah, Peterson just happens to have his pilot's license. But of course there are no records to indicate that he ever used the airport.

This guy bugs me. He makes statements about what a great Mom she is, then talks about how mean she was lately. He talks about her seeing a psychiatrist and how she is on anti-depressants, yet he doesn't seem concerned about suicide. He says he thought they had a good marriage, but admits that she might not have thought so (then from family we find out she was wanting a divorce.)

Search warrant included the cell phones, too.

(The only thing missing from THIS Peterson case is the boat! Hmm...wonder if he has one of those?! Wouldn't that go along with the RV?)

I'm thinking this time it might be a plane.

This is all very convenient for him, isn't it?! I hope someone happened to be watching that webcam. Wouldn't that be an unexpectedly sweet surprise?

I noticed how shallow the retention pond is at the airport which tells me they were not looking there for her body, but maybe for a weapon or other evidence.

If he were able to take her up and away in a plane while still alive...she could be anywhere! This truly worries me as we know how things are at a standstill in the case of Lisa Stebic.

I'm just hoping that no one saw him flying on Sat. night or Sun. That would be even more of a nightmare.

Has anyone said where the kids were on Sat. night or Sun.?

At the time they were officially divorced, but the court had yet to approve a division of assets. When Savio died, her sons, under Peterson's guardianship, received $1 million from a life-insurance payment, according to court records.

Peterson later received the proceeds from other life insurance policies, the profits from the sale of a bar they owned in Montgomery and profits on the sale of their home, all valued at more than $600,000, the records state.

Cales said she believed her sister was in danger and had in essence been stalked by her husband.

"When she told me Friday night she feared for her life, I was suspicious so I wanted to stay in contact her, so I saw her Saturday night," Cales said. "We spoke, we talked all day, we text messaged. When I left her Saturday night, she said she'd call me when she woke up. She never called, and I just got really worried."

Cales had been expecting her sister to help her paint with a friend on Sunday, but five hours after Stacy had been expected, she had not shown up. Cales said began "calling her cell phone, calling the house, I was calling everybody, and then finally I broke down and called Drew."

Cales said she reached Sgt. Peterson at 11:26 p.m. Sunday.

"When he first answered the phone, I said, 'Hi,' and (he said), 'Where's your sister?' and I said, 'That's why I'm calling you.' He was just jumping all over the place saying, 'Well last week, she was going to disappear just like your mom did, and I know that's a crock of crap. And then he said, 'Well she ran off with another guy. She's been seeing these other guys.' And that's not her."

Cales said Sgt. Peterson was out of breath during the conversation, and claimed it was from running in search of his wife.

Cales added that when she drove by the Peterson house around the time she talked to Sgt. Peterson, neither of the vehicles belonging to the couple were there. At 2:30 a.m. when Cales drove by again, the vehicles were back, she said.

"He said that she called him at 9 o'clock and said she left her car at Clow Airport (a local airfield), and that she was leaving; going on a little vacation," Cales said.

I think the Daily Herald had an article that mentioned he actually had six children total.

Edited: Wrong paper http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/heraldnews/news/632162,4_1_JO02_MISSING_S1.article

Though family members say Cassandra expressed suspicions about the 53-year-old Peterson, she reportedly cloistered herself with him in the home of his next-door neighbor during the search. Some of Peterson's six children were with them. An official said Peterson was taken to District 5 state police headquarters in Romeoville before he returned to the neighbor's house.

more things are coming out..sister says that Stacey was battered before. That she witnessed Drew throwing her across the room. And that her sister had bruses before. But she wanted it to work out for the kids sake,..she was having doubts about the death of wife 3.

The third wife's sister said in an interview with Greta that what Drew did not know...until after her sister was found dead...was the million dollar life insurance policy beneficiary had been changed from him to her children!! (She didn't say...but I would have to assume it would be put into a trust for them when they turn a certain age over 21.)

So if this isn't where he is getting the money for his "toys"...there must have been another windfall someplace.

I hope that if the children received money from a trust that Peterson is investigated to see if the money is being misused by him. What a scum.

Two days before she disappeared, the wife of a Bolingbrook police sergeant told her husband she wanted a divorce, the missing woman's aunt said Thursday.

A day later, on Saturday, Stacy Peterson told her sister she feared for her life, said Suzan Robison, Stacy's paternal aunt.

Sgt. Drew Peterson, Stacy's husband, "was a very jealous, very controlling person," Robison said. "He followed her. He tracked her with GPS on her cell phone, called her constantly."

.............

Family member Kerry Simmons said Stacy kept in the home a journal that contained notes about fights she had with her husband. "She documented everything," Simmons said.

I look for them to take Peterson into custody before they find the body. He is all over the map in what he says to media. It is like he is trying to sound like a worried husband (and what he is worrying about isn't her being missing) yet also trying to gain sympathy, and trying to be macho and worrying about what police are finding at the same time. I do think the fact that they are reinvestigating his third wife's death has him shook.

I believe the police will find some evidence and take him into custody. I think he concentrated so much on hiding her body, that he may have missed things in the home. After they are able to take him into custody, I think he will tell them where the body is.

You're right Myst ... this guys reactions are all over the place.
He's claiming she ran away from home, she does it all the time, she got mental problems (see her pills), her family is nuts, she can't handle the kids, we had a good relationship, she has boyfriends, she's where she wants to be, I miss her, return your library books, poor me ... the media's bugging me because my wife is young and pretty, ACK!
