Just read all the posts on this thread. It seems obvious to me that she is dead. :( And obvious that he killed her. I hope and pray they find the evidence they need to put him away. Those poor kids!!!!

Some of you have compared Peterson to Scott P. but the one he reminds me of is Bobby Cutts. I think it is the attitude.

I totally agree.

I went back to watch the feed and now nothing is on it. Anyway, the guy who was narrating said that if they found anything they wouldn't remove it right away but go back to it. There was a boat and several divers in the pond and a long rope dividing the pond. Looks like a divers rope or a grid rope.

:waitasec: So she grabbed some cash and her bikini and left on foot with her purse and cell phone? Where were the cars when her sister drove by 2:30 a.m. Monday morning ? ? ?

And where did he find the car and how did he get both cars back to his home?

I'd love to know if police did find a record of a cell phone call from her to P. and where that call came from.

Have you noticed that the info from her family and from P. are polar opposites? It bothers me that P. uses the fact that her mother disappeared almost like a way of excusing her disappearance.

Drew Peterson, 53, said this isn't the first time his 23-year-old wife, Stacy Peterson, split on him. She had taken off on him before, he said, when their children or he himself got to be too much.

"She would take off for a few hours like this," Peterson said. "She would say she would vent."

Sounds like there isn't any evidence one way or another that her mom actually took off. The last reported sighting of her was on her way to church when she disappeared. Sounds like everyone jumpted to the conclusion that she "lost it" after some many tragedies and split.

This is a little bit more information about her mother:

When Stacy's mother left for good, it came after Cales experienced crippling personal loss. Cales lost one little girl in a Downers Grove house fire in 1982 and then another child to SIDS in 1987, said Candace Aikin, another of Stacy Peterson's aunts.

"The first baby dying was just too much," Aikin said. "The second baby dying was way too much."

Relatives filed a missing person report, but it never resulted in any solid leads, Robison said.

While I agree it does smack of Bobby Cutts, this is more along the lines of Craig Stebic, imo. I just hope they don't run into a standstill as they have trying to get Stebic to give up where Lisa is. However, it seems this case is unraveling much quicker.

Great interview with the sister this morning! She brought out that on Friday, Stacey definitely feared for her life going to the extreme of texting her sister to let her know she was OK all day Saturday. This doesn't leave any doubt that on Sunday something did happen to her instead of her walking away.

This reminds me more of the other policeman that says his wife ran off with someone else, but her family and friends say she wouldn't do that. The name fails me but we do have a thread on that case here! I think that guy is STILL free. :(

I have a feeling that we'll be quoting that line for awhile ...
"According to Drew"
:snooty:
:liar: Yes, and don't forget the appropriate smiley.

On Fox~ Commander says they haven't found anything, but they are working in what they call black water so everything is done by touch. They have 10 divers deployed and 4 in the water at this time. The ambulance is an old one with supplies for the divers. He said it will still take a couple of days to scan the retaining pond.

"according to Drew" LOL I like that.

SS, I'm pretty sure this couple didn't have young kids, if any. All I can remember that might be a clue is that another policeman/partner went to jail shortly after this guy's wife went "missing". And something about the husband having plastic explosives in his locker....

Ugh, this memory sucks!
