Yes, but would he have been able to leave the home knowing that her body was still at the house with the kids? And take the chance that one of the kids might stumble across her body while he was gone?

Unless they had a lock on their bedroom door. Otherwise it would be very risky, IMO.

Yes. If they have "door knobs" that have key holes, he could have locked it. The kids might have knocked on "their bedroom" after DP left thinking Stacy was in there, but after no response, at their young age would think Stacy was still taking her nap. (If that is what DP told them).

Or if there was another room in the house that was unused, like a "junk room", she could have been in there and DP locked it. The children IMO would not think of knocking on that door. I also have asked many times if their house had a basement, but have not found anyone to have responded yes or no.

Tom's Girl:

Thanks! For a Police Chief to be at a vigil where possibly one of his own, might have been the murderer is so telling!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO

I can bet, that no Police Chief, if I were to theoritically ask them, would say that they would attend a vigil unless the suspected police officer had been arrested. It almost borders on the unethical.

Drew P wanted those kids out of the house for some reason. And it wasn't because he didn't want to leave them alone.

Well now doesn't that bring up a whole barrel of what ifs. (Sorry for the pun).

That certainly helps me in where Stacy was, plus who knows what was down in the basement.

And dam* it...............I have to get off and do some work before hubby gets home and decides to unplug this computer!! LOL

Who brought up about the WS "spa" or rehab?? I totally agree!

Maybe Drew used his 15 minutes without the kids to run out and buy a pre-paid disposable phone so he could make the rest of hus "arrangements" without leaving a trail on any of the phones LE knew he had.

Which canal is Kerry talking about?

  • #252
Greta is on with Sharon and Roy...talking about the cone incident.

  • #253
10/28/07 When Sharon when grocery shopping at 9:45 am,she said both cars were in the drive, but when she returned about 11:45 am only DP car was in the drive. DP told Sharon Stacy was running errands for her Grandfather. If Stacy was killed at home, DP would have had to drive car to airport and walk home within the time frame above. IMO

Ooooo the warrant mentioned possible forfeiture of the vehicles. How would they go about doing that?!

Greta interviewing Sharon and Roy. Drew was putting cones out on the street. Roy contacted police and was told it was illegal to put the cones in the street. So Roy removed them, Drew put them back, Roy removed them and put them on Drew's driveway. Drew put them out again, and at that point Roy gathered them all up and threw them behind the pool in Peterson's backyard.

Sharon is helping to put together a benefit concert on January 20 - Stacy's birthday. This is to raise funds for searching.

The search warrant was served by state police. Drew came out to accept the warrant. The search warrant covers both cars..........the Denali is the suspect vehicle they believe was used to transport a blue container. The warrant states they're searching for blue plastic. The warrant said something forfeiture.

She saw Drew's SUV only at 11:55am instead of 11:45am giving him 15 more minutes. But you have to remember that Stacy and Bruce had a phone call at 10:09am. This means the time frame of when he moved the car closes in a lot.

If they need it for evidence at trial - would they call that a forfeiture? Or - maybe they are going to take it apart?

Leila, that cracks me up that Roy tossed them in his yard. LOL

Was it definitely a phone call with Bruce? Not a text message (that DP could have sent from her phone)?
