What was Jodi Ann planning to do with that gun anyway ?

To murder someone? I don't believe for one second that she planned to kill herself. Didn't her parents say she was getting ready to flee? I'm SO glad that they arrested before she had time to get away to Mexico or wherever.

How long do you think it will take for him to deliver his closing argument? I haven't seen him do it before.

I hope he takes the whole day- just love to listen to him :blushing:.
But, I think (?) there's a set time????

When investigators searched her home (at the grandparents) they found, I believe, 2 receipts. They did not find the receipt for the 3rd gas can. They believed that she did this for an alibi to show that she wasn't in AZ. In her mind, she probably believes that investigators take everything at face value.

The other transaction was found by searching bank statements, which is why JM shows the purchase amount and the price if gas at that station for that day by looking at the other receipts.

This was right up there with the photo of herself from 6/3. I got the Impression DT had no idea it was coming...

Priceless!

Dr D is right, JA is immatue, the way she refers to her and TA's relationship "we weren't official then" when talking about whether or not they were booty call status or girlfriend/boyfriend, this sounded weird coming from a 32 year old,, sounds so high school

Wow...I missed that. Hopefully that information will be brought forward. Tht would be damning for the jury to hear.

If ever a person deserved the DP it would be JA. And I am not pro DP.

K
Doubt it will.... there's waaay more stuff the jury will NOT know than they will.

Good Morning!

:coffeews: If the wind dies down here at some point today, i'm going to head out for a walk... and refresh my mind.

Oh that would be GREAT if you could find that and give me a link. I am just hunkering down here on this lazy Sunday a.m. and trying to figure out what testimony would be good to review. I've got all day, so I'm gonna get busy here right away.

That is interesting about the DF testimony. I don't recall, so I would love to re-visit that testimony. TIA

Found it, in case link does not work: Jodi Arias trial day 24 (full) by Eonblue3

The part I was referring to is at approx. 2:40 but I suggest either watching the whole day or start listening at about 2:20. That's when JM begins his questions about who she called to tell she was veering off track and going to Mesa first. Interesting that she attempted to call MM and DB to tell them she lost her phone charger...she wanted them to be her alibi IMO that she lost the charger.

I love windy day walks as long as I don't blown off with the wind! :scared:

We've got rain in Georgia. I don't even want to go to the grocery store in it. My girls got in ALL the puddles, so their paws are wet up to their ankles. (do dogs have ankles?)

Was it ever explained why we only see TA's texts to JA on May 26th but not her responses?

But of course. They're people, after all. :floorlaugh:

I'd love to read a list of all the things the jury won't hear.

Well, off the top of my head, they have not and probably will not see the video of her doing all the weird stuff in the interrogation room. (Hand stand, picking through garbage, singing Dido song, fluffing her hair and telling herself that she should have worn make-up).

ETA - We only got to see these things quite recently...

If you're taking a break from the JA trial but would enjoy a fabulous legal thriller, Runaway Jury is on AMC this evening at 7:00PM (EDT). The film stars John Cusack, Gene Hackman, and Dustin Hoffman.

Runaway Jury (2003)

A juror on the inside and a woman on the outside manipulate a court trial involving a major gun manufacturer.
