Nancy bought necklace Fall 2007.

Similar to one she had.

She never took it off, as did witness.

I am pretty familiar with NC (my husband went to college at UNC - Chapel Hill, High School in Charlotte, etc.), but I was wondering... is Apex a cheaper place to live than Cary? Was Nancy looking for an easier mortgage in an area not quite as "exclusive" as Lochmere? Is that the idea of her looking at other houses?

Necklace testimony--Nancy liked witness' necklace and wanted one like it. Brad bought her one. She NEVER took it off.

The reason that Nancy wanted to move wasn't clear. Witness stated that something had happened in the Lochmere neighborhood between Brad and Nancy and that's why nancy wanted to move.

Dec 2007 aware of party for Brads graduation, hosted by Nancy and her parents.
Didn't go to party.

New Years Eve with Brad and Nancy, that day Nancy called and said Brad had admiited to having sex with Heather.

Got into argument and it came out. Nancy was upset, crying, angry.

You've been asked to leave GOLO? You mean like 'kicked out'? Strange.

I think they mean asked not to discuss GOLO on this board.

Personnally I think Apex is a little less expensive and the property taxes are less than in Cary.

Is Kurtz objecting to *every* question based on hearsay?

They didn't fight in front of witness.

Nancys plan going into spring, trying to figure out what to do.
Couldn't work so she was planning on going back to Canada.

Brad had agreed to let them go .

Told her Brad would spend time with girls, then never wanted to see them again????

Hanna sure knows alot about Nancy and her private life....Def. keeps objecting..on hearsay I suppose..however whatever Nancy told her is fair game..Guess they hope one objection will take....So many objections appears to be trying to coverup facts about their relationship..No good

I, too, heard the 'never wanted to see them again'.

Financial arrangement Nancy was cut off from all funds. First 80 per week.
Then agreed to 300 per week.

IIRC, didn't the Young's, Jason & Michelle, live in Apex? I don't think Apex is *cheaper*, I think there are expensive and less expensive areas in Apex.

No water. She couldn't pay, found out her accounts were closed. Worst day of her life. Witness told her she was scared for her and that he was crazy. You never know what a crazy person will do next.

Brad said money was his, not hers.

WHOA..She told Nancy she thought Brad was crazy..and she was scared for her...Yikes brings back memories of how I felt going thru this with my best girlfriend about a decade ago!!...Yikes!!

The day the water was cut off is the day Nancy found out she had been closed out of all bank accounts. Told witness this was the worst day of her life.
Kurtz needs to stop objecting. It looks really bad for the defense, I hope the jury picks up on the defense not wanting this witness to testify what she was aware of.

Boy, my screen "buggered" right after she said 'I told her I was frightened for her. I said I thought he was crazy and you never know what a crazy person will do next." Wow.
