Well well..Brad did tell at least one truth...that Nancy was livid/angry when she came home from her trip to find the house in shambles....So much for Brad's cleaning frenzy before she came home..and his being so proud of himself...:floorlaugh:

Swimming on Friday with HP and kids. Testimony about what NC ate for lunch and that she had a Diet Coke with lunch. Jewelry she was wearing at pool.

She didn't sound sure of the drink. Answered it with a question. Diet coke?

Nancy wanted to go with her parents back to Canada..but couldnt because Brad had the kids passports...she cried . Heard her mom said this in her testimony..

I don't know how her parents are fixed financially, but I know if I were in the same situation, my parents would pony up for me to get my own place. Situation critical, IMO.

I would of got a lawyer and got those passports back. parents might of helped with that. moo

She had a lawyer..but Brad wasnt cooperating...

I don't know, I think it would be hard to do with 3 people, Nancy and the 2 girls, for an indeterminate amount of time. A month maybe, but a lengthy divorce with no end in sight? If I were Nancy, I wouldn't want to ask my friend, also a family with numerous children, to take me and my two kids in for what could be a year or more, because I can't get a job, I don't have a work visa. :(

Didn't DD testify that she offered for Nancy to stay with her and offer was declined? Think I remember that...

Installed after Jan. Nancy asked phones to be removed.

Could Cisco phones have been reinstalled while Nancy was on vacation with her family?

Brad answered house phone July 12th.
Said Nancy wasn't there, went for run with CC she left between 6:30 and 7.
Tell Nancy to call her. Went about her morning. At some point tried call and didn't get her.

After 1 her phone rang, it was Brad wanting CC's phone number. Told her to try Jessica.Asker where her bag and phone were, Brad said right here.

Minutes passed, she walked around panicky.

Was worried Nancy didn't call her, it was unusual. After 2 call with Brad, Jessica called.
Knew she was a friend of Nancy, and about painting plans.

J told her Nancy didn't come to paint that morning.

That's when she knew something was really wrong, and was worried Brad did something to her.
Was in shock and didn't think she could call hospitals, J said she would do it.

VERY VERY worried.
<Bless her heart she's getting emotional>

I'm sorry, but if 2 best friends, immediately think 'husband' did something, much like Denise Brown when finding out Nicole, O.J.'s Nicole, was murdered, AND wife ends up dead, that says something to me. :(

WOW..This poor women...put yourself in her shoes for one second..I can only imagine her panic and fears..and yes she said she thought Brad might have done something to her....Do Ya Blame her with her background knowledge of Nancy's issues with her husband???

Ok I will be the sacrificial lamb and go ahead and put it out there...

With all due respect to the family and friends of the victim, she did not leave with her family or even stay away with her family because she had no intentions of leaving the marriage without getting the money she felt she deserved.

Let the flames begin...

Heard back from J, knew she called non emergency number.
Freind Susan came over at that point.

J called and told witness to come over to Cooper house.
Tried to call house phone, may have tried to call cell.

Got to house, J Mary, policeman. Before Brad was there. Another policeman arrived. Said Nancys card was swiped at LTF, went there to look, didn't find her there. About 15 to 20 minutes there.

My heart is racing, simply listening to this testimony. So emotional, so sad, so tragic.

Before I saw and heard Nancy's friends talk, I had a "Desperate Housewives: McMansion Nouveau Riche Edition" feel about them. Now, I see them as nice, real people who truly cared about Nancy. I feel so sorry for them. What a horrible thing to go through. I can't imagine losing a good friend (or even an acquaintance) under these circumstances. Kuddos to them for caring enough to take time out and go look for her, call the police, call hospitals, etc.

Went back to Cooper house.

Brad not there yet.

Police were still there, neighbors gathering.

No one was able to get ahold of Brad.

Brad arrives. Car pulled into driveway, Brad speaks to LE. Not friends or neighbors.
