The picture posted on Kurtz & Bloom's website of Nancy not wearing her necklace was taken at Jennifer's daughter's birthday party.

Nancy WAS actually wearing her necklace that day!

Jennifer prepared a memo and disk to be sent over to show more pictures taken that day. (or something like that, I really was trying to pay attention but didn't catch it all. sorry!)

Photoshop editing perhaps?

Did I hear this right, that BC's attys posted a picture on a web site that showed she did not have the necklace on, but in fact she DID have it on???

Was the picture doctored???

I noticed a photo or two I've seen, unless it's close up, one can miss the necklace. It appeared to have a very fine chain, and didn't show up against her skin that well unless the photo was extremely close up shot.

Sorry if this is a dumb question... but I haven't followed this case too closely... they keep asking all the witnesses about her wearing this necklace a lot. what's the big deal with the necklace?

Because she *always* wore it, many friends and family members have testified about how she never removed it for any reason. Yet when her body was found, she was not wearing the necklace....it was in the house.

Because Nancy was found dumped in a construction site minus the necklace..tho still wearing her diamond earings..and most of her friends said she ALWAYS wore the necklace..Necklace was much later handed over to Authorities in October sometime....

One..sort of rules out a mugging since diamond earrings were still there..yet her necklace was missing..yet found in Brad's custody... She also died from strangulation..so dont know if nek injuries would indicate her necklace had been ripped off her..so that is speculation only on my part...

BTW..The necklace was a give from Brad

This is the most jovial witness I've ever seen!

The defense asked if the picture on their website was one provided by Jennifer F. Answer was yes. It seems that if the picture had been doctored, that the prosecution would've had the original entered into evidence.

I like your tag line.
I think he's a bit arrogant and doesn't seem to be taking this as seriously as he should be.

I missed that, left the computer for a moment. Hope someone can answer your question.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of the pictures taken without the necklace seem to be older, taken before it was purchased probably.

She said that she saw the picture on Kurtz and Blum website claiming a picture showing Nancy without the necklace. She was shocked because the picture was taken at the witnesses daughter's birthday party. She had numerous other pictures showing that Nancy WAS wearing the necklace. The defense brought up that they snagged that picture from one the witness provided during the affidavits or something like that. So I don't think they doctored it. I just think it was a bad, blurry copy so you couldn't see the necklace. But they know their picture label is inaccurate and misleading and yet it is still there, or at least it was because that's where I saw it.

On the diamond earring front, we found out during HP's testimony that they were pressure back, not screw back. So, easier to become dislodged while pullling article of clothing on/off (no matter who did clothing/removal of clothing).

May be just how he copes with nervousness.

I agree, it's seems he thinks he's at a party. Perhaps he's just trying to be in a positive state of mind (compared to his wife).

I hope so. I would hate to think that he's not serious in this matter.
I have a tendency to giggle at the most inappropriate times when I'm nervous.

Someone poke the camera man please, close up needed.

Do we know where he works, what he does for a living? If it's been mentioned I missed it.

It is interesting to see how people react when testifying, its so freaky to talk about looking for a missing person you knew that turned out to be murder and then you have her husband starring at you from his seat when he is accused of murdering her. I have no idea how I would react, giggling, crying, shaking, I am not sure I would do well, I probably would puke afterwards!
He is nervous is my guess.. not an easy thing to do, that's for sure!

My husband is a teaser, sometimes uses humor in uncomfortable situations to cover his being ill at ease. Sometimes I have to poke him and say 'quit teasing'... because I can tell someone is wondering why he's kidding around or *is* he kidding around, etc.

The first time I was in a courtroom, I was probably around 20 yrs. old, and would guess were someone to describe my demeanor, it would have been 'she looked like a deer caught in headlights'. JMO

Ah, the elusive 'friend who taught Brad how to find his call history'.....

Just to sidetrack a minute:

Why is this not a death penalty case? Premeditation?
