surely the defense could have gotten an real expert..someone that doesn't use the terms wonky...my memory gets worse the older I get...

You didn't hear that the state had him on their witness list too?

1st Citizens has to be thrilled to have their name and corporate image associated to this trial.

First Citizens, I think that was the original snobby bank of raleigh. I remember when we first moved down there, they didn't want our banking business. :great:

There you go: Cisco. This is too good.

he doesn't seem to keep jobs so he may not be an expert he may just be a know it all

Hmmm this guy is not giving me warm and fuzzies. I would walk across the street to avoid him

Mr Kurtz wants to acquire FBI apparatus/ methodology and put it into this witnesses hands. Riiiight.

Okay, do we care about what he did in the early '80s or what ever?

Sure we do. It's building the "foundation" to show why he is an expert.

Arrogant isn't he? I predict, if he is actually allowed to do this bragging, the jury will dislike him. I'm certainly tired of listening to him pat himself on the back. :innocent:

Think about it this way........the jury has to decide who is the more credible witness. Compare the credentials of the prosecutions witness, to the credentials of the defenses witness.

I think the jury will compare the testimony of the 2, not the credentials.

This guy never would have been accepted into the FBI. He can't stop talking and talking and talking. You ask him the time and he tells you how to build a clock.

  • #135
no where did you get this information from

It was mentioned in court today while both sides were discussing him with the judge.

  • #136
Good morning! Just tuning in. Do I understand correctly that the jury is not hearing this?

I guess the point of all the job hopping is to prove the diversity of his knowledge.

For me personally, job hopping drives me crazy....and yes, he does seem full of himself. Likeable enough, he is boring..but honestly, I can understand what he is saying which is a first in the technical stuff!

It does not appear this guy has stayed with any employer very long.

I heard that as well. He was definitely on defense and I gathered from what I heard on the prosecution's list.
