Trace tape sample used to lift off fiber on trunk lid. Given to SBI for testing.

One of these detectives/investigators will have taken the necklace into evidence. My heart does a little thump thump at the right sized envelopes, lol.

Waiting for them to say whose hair it was...and I believe they can tell if it was hair from a live person or a deceased one. Seems like we discussed this years back...someone let me know.

I wasn't here at the time, but I believe that was gone into quite heavily during the Caylee Anthony investigation. Weren't there hairs in Casey's trunk that were consistent with a dead person?

Something that could have been blood in the right front seat (although further tests show it wasn't blood). You guys would be killing the defense if this was being presented by them.

If the jury came back with a guilty at this time, we would know that they were not objective.

This witness sounds like he has a bit of a New Orleans accent.

That is a Cajun accent, gracielee! I am from Louisiana also and recognize it!

If the hair has the root attached they can tell a lot more. Any decomp of hair would require the root portion to determine such a thing. Also, at the point Nancy was put into BC's car she wasn't decomposing (yet).

Detective viewing photographs, admitted as evidence.

It almost sounds like the defense tactic of throwing a bunch of stuff out there and hoping something sticks.

Except we have the prosecution throwing stuff out there hoping the jury thinks that because it was tested, it must mean he's guilty. This seems like such an incoherent argument.

Hair in the trunk? Did Nancy ever put anything in the trunk?

Streaks in the trunk? Brad said that he cleaned the gas from the trunk.

Waiting ... anything else in the trunk?

Hair in the trunk? We lose 100 hairs a day and it could have been on BC and fallen into the trunk if it weren't from her directly.

When does decomp start?

Darn I want to see these photos of the car...

Showing photos to jury. Noted screw missing from license plate.

O/T: There is a Frye hearing in the Casey Anthony case tomorrow.

There is a 'death band' on the hair if the person whose hair it is was deceased at the time.

Hi all - Hi ncsu.

Duh-uh? HOW does his (now) latest testimony (as u quoted below) follow his years-earlier affidavit and reports that Nancy apparently rang him to go BACK to stores to buy bread, milk, laundry d-tergs, juice and g-d knows what else .... around 6 am ... if they now say she was still asleep at 8am?

Sorry for jumpin in so brazenly and unannounced ... just doesn't make sense. Contrived testimony, IMO.

Polk :seeya:

Kids were in the house. Brad was with them. Kids never got questioned by police. Defense wants to introduce evidence that the older child told Clea Morwick that she saw her mom that morning. Much argument about that on here because BC claims she didn't wake up until 8:30. Argument has been made that she could have woken up and seen her mom then went back to sleep. No testimony allowed on that yet. Happened 1 week after trip with her parents. Brad didn't call 911. JA called the non-emergency number after talking with Brad.

Still ... that happens. It would have been more risky to remove the plate and give police a reason to pull him over than to keep the plate on and drive around with a body in the car.

Why did we get the full tour of the house, but not of the car? Argh!

I don't think that's what they're doing. I think they are showing thoroughness.

That wasn't my criticism of the defense earlier. It was the fact that everything that Kurtz was asking had already been asked by the prosecution. He just repeated everything. I didn't get the point of it coming out of the defense's mouth since it was the same as what came out of the prosecution's mouth already.
