O/T: There is a Frye hearing in the Casey Anthony case tomorrow.

There is a 'death band' on the hair if the person whose hair it is was deceased at the time.

JMO

Thank you!

Where some of you see a New Orleans accent on the CCBI witness, I hear a NCarolina accent, probably from Harnet or Sampson County, or nearby to those.

Why did Cummings handle the sports bras with his bare hands earlier today? Why didn't he wear gloves too?

This Cummings guy, let me say that I can picture him coming home from work, taking forever to eat his food while reading the paper SLOWLY, then he gets a little wheeled carrier loaded with reading materials and heads slowly to the bathroom to do his daily business on the terlet, where he stays for a good hour.

I can't take it anymore.

Hi all - Hi ncsu.

Duh-uh? HOW does his (now) latest testimony (as u quoted below) follow his years-earlier affidavit and reports that Nancy apparently rang him to go BACK to stores to buy bread, milk, laundry d-tergs, juice and g-d knows what else .... around 6 am ... if they now say she was still asleep at 8am?

Sorry for jumpin in so brazenly and unannounced ... just doesn't make sense. Contrived testimony, IMO.

Polk :seeya:

"She" was referring to Bella, not Nancy.

I don't think that's what they're doing. I think they are showing thoroughness.

They may have been thorough in trying to pin this on Brad, but they didn't find anything. I'm not buying that this is a convincing argument of premeditated murder yet.

Are we finally getting to something or more "non evidence" I am trying to be patient, but it is hard with it being soooo drawn out

JMO, but he's got a different accent from NC/country. I'm neither from N.C. originally, nor La. But I'm usually spot on with the New Orleans or apparently it's referred to as Cajun. I just *hear* something in the various vowels/drawls/etc.

They did put measuring device by the hair to give the length...would like to hear that measurement.

Milk was for the younger daughter not the older daughter. Younger one woke up at 4 am according to BC.

well, I dont know. They found a hair in brads trunk. I guess we will see in a hour or two.

  • #391
aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - Evidence - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

  • #392
I don't know how this all works. But it seems to me they could get around to what the testing showed. It seems like a big secret. Introducing pictures and liners as evidence, now showing trunk liner to jury.

  • #393
There were so many evidence packages that were shown to the detectives and CCBI, but not opened. I suppose the CCBI Lab witnesses will testify at some point on the forensics involved in these evidence packages.

I certainly will not nap during computer forensics testimony like I have done today!

When does that band occur? Is it at the time of death or duing the decomposition phase?

It is Cajun/South Louisiana accent, IMO.

If I were on this jury, I'd be running from the courtroom by now, screaming and pulling my hair out by the roots. At least we can get up, walk away, get a drink, make the bed, etc.

  • #397
Scratches on the spoiler? Seriously? This sounds like defense cross examination instead of direct.

After death. Decomposition starts almost immediately on the human body.

  • #399
Well there you go...another state witness with absolutely nothing of value to add. What the heck is up here?
