I wonder what percentage of eye witness identification is correct.

Has anyone watched In Session today? I could have sworn that I saw Beth Karas out in front of the courthouse this afternoon! I rolled my window down at the red light and tried to hear what she was saying into the camera, but couldn't. When I went back, she was gone. I thought I saw her sitting in the courtroom in a grey colored sweater. Was that her? The only thing I could locate online was Amanda Lamb. I don't think it was her I saw, although they are both blonde.

Beth Karras is there and reporting LIVE, Prancy.

Beth Karas is in Raleigh and covering this case for In Session. I watched her reporting on IS from outside the courthouse during the lunch break. I want to go to court soon to hear testimony. I went a few times in the BC case. I wish I knew when MM is going to testfy.

Whose shoe had blood on it?

I don't believe her husband attacked her and will continue to hold the opinion that at least one of her assailants was a woman.

There is no conclusive evidence that Michelle was asleep when attacked. There has been testimony the treadmill was turned on.

JMO

We can't dismiss a woman being at the scene, because of something that will come up later.

Don't you wish we could fast foward sometimes?

what I wish (and ask) is that we keep the snark out of our posts. thank you. this lands at random.

The first jury sure did not agree with you and neither do I.

His daughter is on the witness list. I look forward to her testimony.

JMO

Could you do me a favor and tell me where I could find the witness list?

TIA!

Yes, Beth Karas is in court and she is wearing red today. She's an awesome reporter, so objective. (Unlike Amanda Lamb, whose reports are often inaccurate.)

Also, I remember sometime in 2011 watching a program with Dan Abrahms. He was talking about circumstantial vs. direct witness evidence. The program had nothing to do with this case; I can't recall the context of the program. But I recall him saying research has shown that eyewitness evidence is "notoriously unreliable." I believe that.

Ohhh now that is interesting! Can't wait. I always felt it could be a woman!

Thank you ... for a minute, I thought it was on Jason's shoes and that he was hooped.

Who's shoe was the Adidas sneaker with blood on the outside of the toes?

I had to look that up. LOL

So it seems that the child was not sleeping, not drugged, but instead wearing shoes and wandering around.

I don't think she'll testify. They have to be pretty desperate to do something like that to a little 8 year old whose mom was murdered and daddy sitting there being accused. How awful. I pray she doesn't. :(

David Freeman is now on the stand describing DNA

The forensic scientist / DNA analyst is a good "teacher" - bringing a complex topic down into layman's terms.

Good use of analogies.

Wow, so, CY's shoes are coming in!!

I dunno, this trial is so disjointed. Both sides imo seem to think I know what they are talking about. They jump from one piece of evidence, say UMMMM, a lot and are off in another direction..:waitasec:

Sorry for the rant.

I think she was on the first trial witness list as well.
I don't think there is any way they would call her though.
