I agree, but his family is worth a lot of money, as well.

I don't see this about being about money.

Either real money or Michelle Money.

That's even worse, imo. SOME people with money are greedy. They want more.....a lot more.

Sounds like Jason wanted it all. No wife, no responsibilities, women at his feet, money to splurge......

It's not looking good.

Agreed, this wasn't about money. This was about an immature, impulsive, selfish, person thinking they had more out in life than what he was living. MM only showed him the fun he could have, along with others I suppose....heck he wasn't even honest and faithful to his mistress...as ironic as that sounds.

I saw that clip on Vinnie tonight and thought the same as you! She didn't say 'they found Michelle dead' or 'I saw that Michelle had been killed', she simply said 'the found michelle'. Much the way scott peterson said 'laci is missing'.......:maddening:

Yes, that comment was like two steps ahead of most peoples thinking....not that she was killed, murdered, or even hurt...found. Hmmm.

Wait, did she say that Jason told her that he spoke with Meredith Fisher on Thursday night? Is that new news??

That may have been when he was calling to clarify something about the fight he had with Michelle. He called her to say he didn't throw a phone at Michelle(or something...can someone else remember the details?)

As well I did find the link that showed JY in what appeared to be a shirt then maybe a pullover in the video submitted into evidence.

Does anyone else see what I see during these videos submitted by the prosecution?

http://www.wral.com/specialreports/michelleyoung/image_gallery/9726666/

@22:51 I can see some one to the back and right side, looking at photo, coming in with what looks like dark clothes, backpack and coffee in his hand. He appears to be coming in from the front entrance. Is that what you are seeing. I am just seeing for the first time and had to really look a couple times through the sequence of photos. Wonder who he is?

I hate to quote myself, but this was really an ah-ha for me today. And I never even considered this possibility before. So bumping it in case anyone might not have seen it. Does anyone else agree that this is significant? I am starting to believe MM was involved somehow (in the murder).

I'm not leaning towards her being involved, but after her testimony today I do firmly believe that she knows a heck of a lot more than she is admitting to knowing and I do think she knew it very early on (like perhaps right around the time it happened from the person that did it)

Unless the perp was literally dripping in blood, removing shoes and walking down carefully, not touching anything along the way would get the job done. Whatever he used to initially wipe himself off with, he toted out in a bag with the shoes.

Yes, except for some blood on his hand, absolutely clean when he comes downstairs. I believe the wearing size 10/changing into size 12 and then taking care of somethings unplanned (child walking in blood, cleaning, giving powerful medicine, rocking to sleep/) and some others moving around the bed (putting child in bed) fits rather well.

IMO wearing the size 10s during the attack and wearing size 12s after changing in the closet. Partial prints for the size 12s might be walking on his toes so to speak.

Important I think is absolutely zero prints downstairs. :waitasec:

Jason said he looked up those terms due to an accident he came upon.

I am not trying to be difficult but anyone knows if you want to kill someone by hitting them on the head, you don't need to research how to do it.

Now, if the word strangulation was found on his computer... maybe.

But, there are so many things in this case that have been taken out of context...........

I'm not trying to be difficult either but since he's a pharm rep, he has some general sense of human anatomy (or one would hope). The words on his pc search (as typed in on Google) do not seem consistent with someone researching an accident to me. Unless, of course it was an accident involving a preplanned murder :)

What was the exact nature of the accident he happened upon? Furthermore, what could he be trying to research or learn with the key words he used? These are rhetorical questions, obviously.

They each had a million dollar policy on each other, but no way, is any insurance company, even one with the dumbest agents, is going to pay out on a ongoing murder investigation.

Have "they" (the court) said that this insurance was part of a Crummey Trust?

ETA: an agent has nothing to do with this.

I found this to be very enlightening. Who says that? they "found her" - to me - that says "I already knew she was dead, and they found her". After all - they could have found her unconscious, gravely wounded, in a coma, beaten, tied up, locked in a closet, etc.

I've never been in that situation (Thank God) but I would have to think I would say "she's dead" - because otherwise - it's simply too vague and people would keep asking more stuff.

it's just not right. and she continues to say it here - it's weird.

I just went back and played that portion of the video. For those who want to check it out for themselves it is at: http://www.wral.com/specialreports/michelleyoung/video/10742083/#/vid10742083 and it starts at 12:38 into that vid.

She says, "I remember speaking with him (husband) and then speaking with Lisa and them telling me to go onto the Internet...and that they had found Michelle." "They didn't know anything, except that she had been found."

However, the question BH first asks, which then leads up to this exchange is:

"Did you become aware that Michelle had been found murdered?" Answer: "yes, about 8:30"

Alan's plans were up in the air, due to his health issues.

SS thought MY found out when she was there.

Yes, MF called Jase when he was at CB.

He had called her earlier, she was returning his call on her way to the Ale House., per her testimony.

But I thought MM testified to day that MF called while she was talking to him at the hotel and he took the call and then called her back after he got through with talking to MF. Maybe I mis-understood and she said MY.

Jason talked to MF at CB for sure.
I know he called home a few times when MY was with SS watching GA, and
when he was on the phone with MM, MY called him back, not MF, but they may have said MF by mistake.

Sorry to ask, but until I can get my left channel fixed, I can't watch replays on wral.

Was there anything new testified to by MM or CAS? I have watched them from the first trial. TIA What a day to miss!!!! GRRRRR

How did Jason know his plan to strangle Michelle was not going to work, to the point, he looked up a back up plan on his computer?

How did Jason know to bring extra shoes to the crime scene to walk in blood, if there wasn't supposed to be any blood?

  • #678
The other thing I found kind of weird is that MM is able to remember almost every phone call she had with JY the night of and the morning/afternoon after the murder. Yet she doesn't really remember what they talked about that late morning other than his sales call and him mentioning it and seeming disappointed and irritated that it was a wasted visit and "it didn't go the way he wanted."

I don't think she knew anything beforehand. Maybe after the fact the times they communicated, esp in Myrtle Beach but I don't think before MY was killed.

Think about it, why would he even risk telling someone else? He goes through all this trouble to commit the perfect crime and yet takes a chance that his mistress in FL isn't going to say something to anyone? With the girls she hung around with? I don't see it.

I just relistened to MM's testimony about her finding out that Michelle had been murdered. Something struck me.

It was interesting the words she used. She ended up (paraphrasing) "speaking with her husband and Lisa, and went onto the internet and finding out that they 'found Michelle'.”

Not finding out that “Michelle was dead” but that they “found” Michelle. Subtle difference, but significant to me b/c IMO just as JY was waiting for MY to be found by Meredith, so was she waiting for the news, not that Michelle was dead, but that she was FOUND. At this moment (I reserve right to change my mind) it sounds to me like this “broad” knew something at the time.

ITA.... I watched the first couple of hours with you guys this morning, but had to stop and get some work done. So, I dvr'd the rest and I'm watching it now. MM is on the stand, and I just got to the part when she said, " they found Michelle." I thought that was such a strange way to put it, and I got online and started going through the posts to see if anyone else thought that was weird...? This girl is one odd little home wrecker!!!
And as far as the posts about Michelle being abused, if people are able to make excuses for jy and claim he didn't abuse that poor girl.... I think its getting pointless to even debate this case with some, when anything and everything is being justified just for the sake of being right. JMO
