Even if JY was going against the Super Lawyer of the Year since 2006, he could have gone to www.legalzoom.com and paid $25 to download a couple of forms. At least try dude.

Such a small, small world -- Schilawski and Stubbs go way back. Were in the same room as reps for clients during BC depo!

How 'bout dat?

  • #103
I would LOVE to know Alice Stubbs take on JY....particularly after watching her depose BC...write a book Alice, write a book. I know she would have to change the names so I am going to help her Jack Old for JY.

The link posted describes entirely different circumstances.

If CCBI checked the soil with phenolphthalein before the heavy rain, perhaps they would have detected blood in the soil....Is that "botched"?

The example was not intended to match the circumstances perfectly, but to demonstrate the resiliance of blood evidence despite significant rainfall. If you look hard enough, you can find a case (even unprotected soil for example) where the circumstances are a closer match and blood was found.

On the other hand, as mentioned above, even if they had found some blood it might be insignificant as far as evidencing anything in this case.

Wouldn't the 'time constraints' have lessened the total paid for any hourly rate??

  • #106
LOL, I knew he was getting at the hourly $$.

But that's NOT the point here. He COULD have put in writing MF and LF's visitation and avoided all of the court filings thereafter, but he didn't

IMHO, it's because his MO is to HIDE! Just like he hid himself away, including from his friends, so he didn't have to answer ANY questions.

He couldn't even FAKE being upset about Michelle's murder!

JMHO

Why do ya'll think he had to stay on the sidewalk to hose off? They had a sizable back yard and a hose. They could have even used a kiddie pool (small one), for the clean up, then dispose of it (wrap it in a tarp and when to you get a dumpster in Greensboro, toss it).

  • #108
I am sure this has been covered, but TruTV In Session dumped this case????

  • #109
Def argument just shot down!

zing...........................

Just sign the one year visitation agreement, no trial, no attorney, no COST!

pfffftttt!

Thanks again jrb0124.
Do you find it puzzling CY's DNA was found on that spigot near the plant bed?
Do you find it puzzling the hose was out and running in November?
I sure do.

TTV said that they are taping the JY trial and will show it later this morning (I think). They check in once in a while.

Close enough in time (months retained) that there had to be overlap.

ETA: for those who followed the BC trail, it appears the clerk, after 8 extension requests (each a month), will finally produce the BC trial transcripts so the appeal can get underway.

Did this witness say that? Did they say it was being "started" or that it's finished?

  • #113
Meanwhile, Linda Fisher is being billed by the hour by this witness to simply seek 'visitation rights' with her murdered daughters child. And to be able to send gifts, cards, and occasionally talk on the phone with her granddaughter.

  • #114
Go go go! That was a great re-direct for the prosecution!!!!

  • #115
Was he the last witness?

  • #116
blink....blink, blink, blink.....blink, blink.....blink, blink, blink

  • #117
Good ole Howard just tore that a__ up!!

  • #118
One signature and no full blown custody anything would have been needed. The Fisher's would have had visitation only. The Slayer would have retained custody. He wasn't willing to do the simplest thing--allow a schedule for visitation.

What a nasty piece of work.

But thank goodness CY is in the loving care of her aunt and maternal grandmother.

They need a sticky note on those HP shoes.....

Though this shoe looks black, it is really dark brown :banghead:

  • #120
All MY's family wanted was to see Cy!!! JY wants people to think that they forced him into a custody case with an expensive attorney and he had no choice but to relinquish custody. Such BS. How cruel he kept CY from her grandmother and aunt after losing her mother. UNFORGIVABLE yet par for the course with JY....He only cares about himself.
