Let's hope the Jurors are not confused, Bottle Cap.

But Cammy, its you who are confusing me. It's easy to see how her feet might have been wet. Its easy to see how she might have left a doll in the floor. I can't come up with anything that dictates those things have to have happened simultaneously.

ETA: you seem to have come up with something that does dictate it, based on the series of questions you've asked. I can't find the mutually exclusive stuff you seem to have found.

Now we also know that she must have been moving around some. Meredith Fisher pointed out during testimony today that at least 2 pairs of Cassidy Young's little shoes were in the bed. How did they get there if not by the toddler herself?

And more important if she was going from room to room how did she stay so clean?

So, they finally got around to CY's shoes in the bed!!

Yayyy me.

Those two things didn't have to happen simultaneously. The doll could have been placed/tossed/fell by Michelle a number of different ways.

Well, we know CY was near Michelle as she walked in her blood, (that is so hard to write.....:( ) but what we don't know is why her PJ's are clean or what CY did all those hours alone.

Did you know that LE actually issued a search warrant for Michelle's Lexus, based on these same concerns, thinking that Cassidy may have been taken from the scene at some time, due to the condition she was found in?

Thanks LuLa, that was kinda my point.

The possibility that Cassidy had not been alone in the home all nite and all the way up to 1:30 pm in the afternoon.

The EMT testifed she was fine.

For a 2 year old to be alone all that time, it's a little surprising that she wasn't upset. She did say that someone was in the house but she did not say that her dad was in the house. I have no idea how a 2 year old thinks, but presumably it's normal for her dad to be in the house - kind of like that's where he belongs - so it seems unlikely that a 2 year old would see any reason to point out that her dad was in the house.

Have you not been watching this re-trial?

Yep...

I was answering a post.

I had noticed the shoes sometime back and questioned that CY must have got up at some point to get them, as I doubt whoever put her to bed, gave her shoes to go to sleep with.....

A stuffed animal or a doll, ,maybe, but not shoes.

I also think she very well may have been taken out of the home for a few hours to calm her down, as you will later hear there were
cars there at a time that Jason could not be......

IMO

Definitely not just you. His questioning of Mrs. Cooper about the ducks will be my lasting impression of him.

Yes, but is that fair to Howard?
This is not the Cooper trial.
Not sure why you agree with this poster, as his questions to the hotel manager were very pertinent to set the stage for the evidence to come.

LE found no evidence of Michelle's car being moved. None whatsoever. Do some of you honestly think Cassidy scampered around, rolled in, stomped all over wet blood all night long? Why is it so hard to think her feet were cleaned off, & she was put to bed? By the time she woke up, later that morning, the blood was dry. (could have been alot later, if you believe JY gave her something to make her sleep)

where was the hotel he checked into and how far away from the house was it? tia

Hillsville and 170 miles away.

So, Raleigh to Hillsville 170
Hillsville to Raleigh 170

Yes, LuLa, there was ZERO evidence MY's lexus was ever moved.
If such evidence existed, rest assured the defense would have presented that in the first trial. ;)

After she woke up, there's no telling what she was doing, before Meredith got there. Trying to dress herself maybe? Bringing shoes from her room, to Michelle's room? Nothing sinister to that at all.

:what: Hah yes, the postal worker who said she couldn't say she was 100% positive. Have a good evening, lol

Again, it was L E who issued a search warrant for Michelle's car thinking Cassidy had been removed from the home......

Just curious on what the search warrant on the Lexus was about then?

Could that have possibly been the 'soccer mom' car that Cindy Beavers saw pulling out of the Young driveway between 5:15 and 5:30 am?

Covering all bases. That's their job. They found nothing.

The point is that CY must have got up at sometime, why would she crawl back into bed by herself? She didn't have to stay in bed once she woke up.
Why not go in her room and play with her toys?

Why not go downstairs and get something to eat?

And, what was Mr. G ( the dog) doing all this time?

The postal worked lived on Michelle's street for 21 years, I find her very credible.......

She testified to all the lights being on at the Young home, interior and exterior.

However, :what: I feel the same way about the gas station clerk.

IMO

Couldn't LE have issued the SW on Michelle's Lexus just to cover their bases? It seems like people would be complaining if they hadn't. The lack of a sexual assault kit comes to mind....

The small problem with the theory that her dad gave her medicine to drug her is that there was no evidence of him on the medicine container and there was no indication that the child had been drugged.

That leaves us with the situation where she fell asleep late watching a movie in bed, woke up in the middle of the night, saw someone in the house, somehow her feet got clean - and we also know that she talked about a wash cloth, went back to sleep? and was found after lunch under the covers on her father's side of the bed.

I wonder where her shoes were normally kept and why she would be wearing shoes in bed. I didn't know about the shoes until today.

It seems like the time between the guest leaving and the next day after lunch are a complete mystery that can't be explained with the suggestion that Jason drugged his daughter (because the evidence isn't there).
