IMHO, I believe the jury will take Gracie's id as a POSITIVE id.

I'm the same size as Gracie and I can't tell, when someone is over the counter from me, how tall they are. Heck, I don't even know how tall Jason is and I couldn't tell you either.

Anyway, my late husband was 6' and of course I knew how tall he was compared to me. But, anyone else, I haven't a clue.

Gracie would have been a slam dunk w/o the 5'2" "little bit of hair" part.
I wished they showed the jury the photo they showed her in 2006 that she said was JLY

Oh, see, it was Jason's RUDNESS that is his undoing! Only one other customer cussed her out, a girl with no id and wanted alcohol.

She came across fine to me. I worked years ago as a pharmacy tech, and like you said, I remember still, a few customers who attempted to buy needles or codine, whom I refused. I don't remember anything about anyone before or after those customers, but I do remember the ones who were *threatening* to me. I also remember one who paid me with a $20.00, for something small, turned around, turned back and attempted to tell me I gave them a one in change rather than a ten. Slipped the ten up her sleeve or some such thing. I'm shortish and always look youngish, but I wasn't a teenybopper, was in my 30's, and no one sticks me with a con, especially when it comes to money. Those types of transactions, one remembers. Especially when the customer starts swearing at you IMO.

Spivey said in one of the interviews she said he was tall, wearing jeans and had blondish hair.

I think it helped <Gracies testimony> the defense gave the dates of each interview. MONTHS apart.

At least her testimony about his demeanor fit in with the testimonies of those thus far. I would imagine that the picture(s) they showed Gracie will come out in a testimony soon. I just hope his hair was cut really short on top which will support her description of a "little bit of hair".

jason's got dark circles under his eyes today.

Well, Jilly, I think the Kingston Trio (Boomers will remember these guyz) -

((((((((Gracie)))))))))) :)

Lt Scott IKard up next.

Me too, I think she did fine. The jury will most likely relate to her naiveness, her guts on the stand today, and her *memory* of the incident three days later when the cops first questioned her IMO. Again, much like in the cooper case, coincidences on the 'night of the murder' are way too odd, for lack of a better word. Look at jason young, it's not like he 'resembles' every tom, dick and harry. You see that red-headed vampire freak swearing at you in the middle of the night, alone in a convience store, you remember him. His extremely boney face, jaw line, etc. MOO.

Two or three days later LE came to talk to her. Working when they came.
Asked her if she had seen white SUV, told them she thought so, showed her pic, she said yes, what was the person like, what had happened.

Just one question, LE showed up and talked to Gracie two or three days after Michelle was found murdered ? Thanks for the notes - a tad busy today.

Hope they looked around and saw those dumpsters then and got inquisitive about them if it was this short of a time after Michelle was found.

PLease hold up Gracie!!!!

She did Gr-r-r-reat! And both the ADA and Klink did a nice, easy-going job with her. She was strong, just like OUR Gracielee!!

Very proud of her. (And JY doesn't have much hair, IMO --- it's light-colored and not very thick -- no error there, IMO.)

And bless the DT for leaving her past drug problems out of this. A good guy.

I certainly hope the jury believed Gracie. But I am utterly amazed at how different you guys are treating her testimony versus RZs testimony in the BC trial.

Hmmm....no one is in an uproar that L.E. focused on the husband so quickly! And yet in an earlier case...quite a different feeling. hmmmm.

That's not true. The husband in both cases were obvious suspects.

Did you not read comments on the social media sites about how L.E. focused on the hub and railroaded him?

  • #99
That's what they teach them, so you know the pros has talked with her. My daughter testifies regularly, and that's what she does. Looks at the jury directly.

OT -- Fran, if I may be so bold as to ask -- what does your daughter do? And if you don't want to answer, ain't no thang... Thanks...
