Nope -- even the sign is the same, which our Chad probably wrote so that he wouldn't get 10 million call & msgs....

Okay, what's this Chad guys number? I need to know how long this is going to take? Are we expected to sit here, glued to a blank screen, waiting? :maddening:

That's exactly what I was going to say, fran. The way I recalled it, 'this product was not tested for children', just as you said. Back in the day when my kids were little, *we* of my generation weren't as stringent on giving meds to kids. I remember my pediatrician always recommended St. Joseph's Aspirin for children'. my daughters are far more cautious with ANYTHING they give their kids. Absolutely NO *guessing* on the amount. Back in the day, my friends and I would just use a regular tea spoon to measure liquids, no droppers with ml's. etc. I can't see Michelle dispensing something to Cas that wasn't tested for children. Especially since the friend from the night before made no mention what so ever of Cas 'being sick' to begin with that I recall?

Doesn't this raise the age old question of uncertainty regarding when the medicine dropper was used? I don't doubt that Jason drugged his daughter after the murder, but isn't that a question for the jury?

LOL @ Chad's handwritten sign.

I imagine he received loads of txt msgs at the beginning and ran around, in his usual cargo shorts, looking for a sign and marker.

I sure do hope the defense puts Mrs. Young on the stand..."that's all you need to know". How anyone can get 28 phone calls in a few hours from their little boy and not wonder what is going on, especially when little boy's wife is found beaten to death, is simply beyond me. Not buying she is that dumb.

Godwin - ROFL.

Got busy with grandsons until now. I see I haven't missed anything.

They were going to publish the State's evidence, so I guess they review the items at the time to take a closer look.

interesting,
fran

Yep, rc - mama knows - she knows her son -- he may have told her that they had a fight and she hit him first, and he hit her and she slipped and fell against the wall and hit her head, but was okay when he left for his trip ....

And Godwin - yes, ROFL - can't wait....

Of course momma young knows. She's certainly not a dumb woman, knew enough to get her momma's boy a fancy criminal attorney immediately. That's another thing that appears to *run* in this particular area, women who slip, fall down, *repeatedly*. Remember poor Kathleen Peterson? Why that poor woman slipped and fell on her head, what was it, five times? And to top it off, then a dumb owl got into her house and attacked her head too! I'm thinking women in the RDU area need to be far more careful. Way too many strange *fall's* and attacking animals. And driving of van's should be prohibited to anyone who isn't a female. There are way too many 'mormon, hispanic, van-drivers around here too.' :maddening:

Yes, the pros rested this a.m. and requested to publish the evidence. The judge said, before lunch, after lunch, they'd be publishing the pros evidence. I guess they must go over each item and the jurors can examine them up close, which must have been what they've been doing up to now.

Of course, now the judge said a 5 min break so everyone can get back to the courtroom. He said they'll then proceed until the end of the court day.

hth,
fran

PS...I'll try to jot down notes after the break. But I have to pick up by grandsons at the park at 5: EDT, so I may miss a few minutes.....fran

Would someone please tell me who the man is that sits beside JY that seems to be there
all the time? If looking from JY's back, the one to the left. TIA.

I'm shocked they aren't standing as the jury enters. Isn't that the usual procedure?
