Sorry Otto about my post ... JTF can you give the link for the statement Pat made about the shirt so I have it. I never remember seeing that one!!

Lucky,
It was a shot I had saved from one of the gazillion search warrants.

One thing I just remembered, I guess we are not going to hear anything about
Jason's second meeting that day?

I thought there was going to be a ruling on whether the person would testify.

I know Jason said he went by there, and dropped off a business card, but they
kind of left that up in the air, unless I missed it.

Anyone know what happened with that?
Thank you.

The defense objected to the line of questioning, the prosecution was left with the option of bringing in the witness ... and I guess they decided it wasn't that important. I think the testimony was supposed to prove that Jason lied on his business expenses.

Do you know if these dumpsters were searched when Gracie was first found? Or was it too late by the time the detectives knew?

Hey Wolfpack.....:)

I would have a problem with someone driving for hours though with bloody clothes, a weapon, etc, wouldn't you?

Seems they would be disposed of somewhere closer to home, than to risk getting pulled over on the hghwy, and having all that incriminating evidence on them?

What do you think?

I've been more interested in wear pattern, as that is something that remains the same regardless of which shoes one person is wearing. There should have been a lot of wear on the crime scene print if the shoe was 1.5 years old.

Only if we knew how often he wore the shoes....none of us have any idea.
Certainly can't go on what Jay said.....the guy is a compulsive liar.

I was half listening to the testimony of Josh Dalton to find out the date of the wedding ... I think it was the weekend of October 12. The golf time was at 7 and Michelle drove Jason to meet Josh and friends early that morning. There's more information in his testimony about times.

Let me know what you come up, thanks Otto.

So, it never came in.

Okay, thank you again.

Why would you need to do it again when you posted after my post that you quoted? I read your first post. Thanks for the timestamp, I can see where that thought came from and I see it was brought into this trial by the DT and not pulled out of thin air.
I agree. Also, in looking at the crime scene photos, the shade was up in the breakfast nook. MY wasn't uncomfortable or scared in her own home. It's possible she didn't even lock the door leading to the garage. JY heard the noises, allegedly. SS was spooked because she wasn't accustomed to the neighborhood. It was a quiet, lovely, safe neighborhood. How many brutal murders have happened in that fashion, in that neighborhood, prior to or since MY was murdered? None. So your point is well taken.

Hi Cammy,
You are tenacious! :)

BBM interesting words? HHMMMM closer to HOME :what:

I am just joshing with you. ;)

But to your point. I have been pulled over and never had a LE officer suspect I had bloody clothes or a murder weapon in my car. And if I was guilty of such a crime I doubt I would have it sitting next to me or out in the open.

Again just joshing with you. Enjoy the Oscars. :)

Hi ~n/t~.

No, Jason's family attorney has not been called yet.
I am curious as to how the defense will fill 4 days with witnesses.
I just do not think Jason should get back on the stand.
His prior testimony came in per video, and that should be enough.

I would be shocked if he took the stand. I can't see taking a risk of a more incisive cross to counter the new information introduced at this trial.

That said, he does seem to have the salesman mentality.

Add to that: instead of driving all the way to his meeting and staying in a HI nearby where his meeting was to take place...and this was his very first sales call/presentation since joining that company, he only goes halfway. He leaves late and gets to his first important sales call 35 min late. He doesn't call his appointment to tell her he will be late (he claims no good cell phone signal). He claims he took a wrong exit and got lost.

You believe his version of events?

What I'd like to ask him is similar to what you mentioned earlier and above, Mad -- "Why didn't you leave Raleigh at 4:00 or 5:00 pm on the 2nd? With an earlier departure you could have driven farther, found a closer HI, and then eaten at a CB in VA, or, better still, you could have gone to the Hillsville HI, but left for your little murderous Raleigh round trip at 10:00pm which would have given you a little more time to better stage a break-in and get back to the HI in time for a real breakfast and made it to that important first call on time?"

I've never understood his late departure.

:floorlaugh:

Don't call me a word I have to look up, lol.

I have been called that before, I suppose.
And, relentless, and stubborn, among other things!!

Okay, but if you got pulled over and you just commited murder, wouldn't you be a little nervous or jittery to the point where they might start getting a little suspicious and they asked you to please step out of the car?

And, then when you got out, you were all shaking and they asked you if you were ok and then you started rambling some weird words and excuses?

And, then they asked you to step away from the car while they searched it?

And, then when they searched it, it would be all over.

Trying to establish an alibi with SS coming over to eat dinner and watch a tv show. JMO He could claim that everything was just peachy when he left and have a witness to say the same.

He was playing with house money the first time, this time the house is on to him....

I wouldn't go near the stand.....jmo

In fact, this week, I would be looking up the definition of a plea deal.

~~snipped

I've never understood his late departure.

The late departure was needed so SS could hear the details of his plans...where he was going, staying and how far.

Yep, she thought that was very odd info for passing conversation.

Cammy,

I look like that whenever I have been pulled over. And not once have they searched my car. Just gave me the ticket and told me to be more careful.

BH gave him a free pass in round 1- that is why we are still here.
He will be sliced, diced and exposed as a liar and a murderer if he dares.

Take the stand Jay.

:please:

Well I knew this would happen. I'm going out of town Wed and will miss the trial the rest of the week. If the DT finishes their case on Thursday will both sides give closing arguments on Friday? That means the jury will have the weekend between closing arguments and deliberating. Anyone know?

I hate getting pulled over, I just got a ticket a few back weeks, and it showed up online with all my other speeding tix.

:innocent:, I swear.
