Let's take Colborn out of the equation for a second, and even Rahmlow out of it. If a citizen sees a missing persons flyer at a gas station, and also see's a LE officer at the gas station, tells that LE officer about a vehicle that matched the description, is it then up to the citizen to go back and check? or would it be up to the LE officer to maybe take a quick drive over there and make a quick report/note about it? I mean, that is their job right?
I am having a hard time understanding how Rahmlow's bankruptcy or bankruptcies had anything to do with him sending a text to ST after watching MaM. He was clearly trying to get in touch with Brendan's lawyers, not even Steven's IIRC. He didn't appear in MaM2 that I saw (I haven't watched the last few episodes though), but even if he did, I doubt he made any money from it, and I highly doubt he was paid for his affidavit, I am just guessing, but I think that would be illegal, and no matter what you think of Zellner, I don't think she's willing to put her livelihood and reputation on the line for Avery.
