Support Thread: Detective Yuri Melich

Absolutely- I would also add to all of us that we need to examine the "mill" of rumors that are circulating, almost simultaneously, very recently.

I take it as a sign for heavy activity this week that will be undesirable to some. Rumors, and gossip are NOT going to stall the wheels of justice in this case in any way. I have decided to make it my goal to NOT react to any unverified information that does not come from the individual it is referencing in the first place.

Press on OCSO!

Yes....well spoken.:)

Det Melich, You are my new hero and real life counterpart of Charlie Jade. :woohoo:
This whole case almost seems to be a parallel universe.

Hope you are healing well.

Sending my deepest regards to you and the entire team.

Rumor, stupid rumors, that's all it is my dear posters.

Det. Melich is still very much on the case. Yes, I have checked.

Remember, there are many people who want to stop good people like Det. Melich from doing their job. One way is to start an ugly rumor.

Let's put this one to rest shall we?

That is really good news Tricia. I was concerned.

Thank you so much for all your work (you and countless others). I am so pleased that your diligence has reaped this reward. Bless you and I hope that you continue to mend nicely. Maybe you all can breathe a sigh of relief for a couple of days now and get a little rest - I know I slept better last night after hearing the news. Best wishes.

Yuri and OCSO~ All the hard work, long hours, and endless efforts came together yesterday when at least 12 people decided the facts only lead to one conclusion. Well done!! It was a huge hurdle to get the indictments and put her back in jail where she belongs. Now the case can proceed into the courts where they can decide what to do with Casey.

Yesterday was just a small piece of Justice for Caylee. Let's bring her home now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and the searchers working towards this end.

I second your sentiments completely, Sister Seriously! I add my thanks and admiration for Yuri, John Allen, Eric Edwards and all the many other fine folks who have worked so hard (and continue to do so) to solve this case and provide the evidence necessary to ensure that Caylee receives the justice she deserves.

I can't imagine the patience and restraint it has taken to deal with the obfuscation and deflection you guys have been up against -- one brick wall and wild goose chase after another. Yet you all have managed to maintain impeccable professionalism and even compassion for those who would thwart your efforts.

To be a voice for those who can no longer speak, to make sure their lives matter and to achieve justice for them -- it must be such a gratifying experience. It's not just professional achievement, but something that must move your soul like not much else ever could.

It takes special people to be able to deal with such sadness and tragedy day in and day out, yet to remain focused on the light at the end of some very dark tunnels...to see it through and give dignity and justice to those who would otherwise be forsaken.

I'd just like to offer my heartfelt gratitude...thank you so much. :rose:

As of today, I'm back to work on a light duty capacity. The leg is healing very well and hopefully I'll be back on two feet soon. I wanted to thank you all again for the kind words and well wishes. Thanks again for helping me pass the past two weeks. Given I'm back to work, I don't forsee being on here much if at all so I wanted to take a moment again to say thanks.

Please continue to keep the Anthony family in your prayers.

Corporal Melich, I'm glad to hear of great steps in your recovery, but I'm so sorry to hear you are leaving us.

I hope you will stop by occasionally to say hi. And don't forget you said that once the case is over, you will answer our remaining case-related questions for us. I'm going to hold you to that! :)

You're a good man, Yuri!
May you be mightily blessed!
(Ps. 18:2)

Yuri, I'd hoped when the "snowball" reached the bottom of the hill KC would offer up some useful information to help find Caylee but it seems selfishness prevails.

I released 2 pink balloons in the air for Caylee Tuesday evening. I told her, hoping she'd hear, that she has so many people looking for her and is truly loved.

Thanks for staying the course for her. We believe in you guys!
