Without witness consent, FBI won't have the therapist's notes.
. . . "in such investigations, agents do not pull records or seek other information that either confirms or contradicts what the witness has said."

Former Tampa agent lays out how FBI will conduct Kavanaugh investigation
Updated: September 30, 2018 at 07:14 PM
[...]

Humphries said that agents, typically working in pairs, will visit witnesses selected by the end user, in this case the White House. The agents will seek permission to conduct an interview and then ask a series of questions. The witnesses do not generally raise their right hands and swear that their testimony is true, but the understanding is that they are speaking to an FBI agent voluntarily, and making a false statement is a violation of federal law.

The New York Times reported that Judge will be asked about both the Swetnick and Ramirez accusations as well.

Humphries said that in such investigations, agents do not pull records or seek other information that either confirms or contradicts what the witness has said. To do so requires consent of the witness or, in the case of a criminal investigation, a subpoena. There has been consternation by opponents of Kavanaugh that the FBI isn’t seeking the employment records of Judge to confirm he was working at a supermarket during the time period suggested by Ford’s Senate testimony.

The notes are then typed into a form for review by supervisors, Humphries said. The electronic version of the forms contain language stating that agents have provided no recommendations or conclusions about the interviews they’ve conducted.

However, Humphries said that if agents feel strongly that a witness is lying, they will have a discussion with supervisors and, if warranted, complete another form including details about why there is doubt about what the witness has said and a recommendation on whether to pursue additional questioning or seek documents.

FYI: Ford gave some of the therapist's notes to the WaPo and she asked for the FBI investigation she is receiving. If she refuses them the notes, it will severely damage her credibility. JMO

I Swear. I feel like Judge Kavanaugh is being made a target for any woman who has ever been assaulted.
What about the 69 women who wrote and signed a letter to the senate, praising him as a fair boss who never assaulted them in anyway whatsoever. To the contrary, they say he was an outstanding human being!
Many who have known him for 30 years?

So, those women's voices do not matter?
I think that they do matter. Politics be damned.

These women have something to say. They know and have worked with Judge K. For decades.
Their statements mean much more to me, versus the accusers.
In my really sincere opinion.
Big deal. Did you ever think that Ted Bundy could've submitted 600 letters from women he didn't rape? In fact I think Ann Rule, a great crime reporter, wrote a book "The Stranger Beside Me" about her relationship with Ted Bundy.

Interesting and telling, imo.

Flake: If I were running for reelection ‘not a chance’ I’d call for Kavanaugh investigation

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) said Sunday that there's "not a chance" he would have called for an FBI investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh if he were running for reelection.

"Not a chance," Flake said when asked on CBS's "60 Minutes" if he would have asked for the investigation if he were up for reelection in the November midterms.

"There’s no value to reaching across the aisle," Flake said. "There’s no currency for that anymore. There’s no incentive."

From 60 Minutes: Jeff Flake was asked if it was discovered that BK lied under oath would that be disqualifying? And Flake said, "Oh yeah" and Chris Coons agreed. I saw that on Twitter, didn't actually see show. BK did lie under oath but WH doesn't want to investigate that it seems.

Of course the support of the professionals he currently works with matters more than those harping about how much beer he drank 36 years ago.

So now you're comparing Judge K to a serial killer? Really? smh

I understand what you’re saying, that many women relate to the credible claims, how the alleged victims have been treated and that Kavanaugh’s behavior makes him a target of sorts.

That said:

If someone is accused of, I dunno, let’s say shoplifting, would any attorney actually believe a credible defense is to trot out 60-however many people who claim the suspect never stole from them?

It’s silly and irrelevant, imo.

You're right how could I forget those but I think the face of Kavanaugh is more exaggerated and unexpected.
He does seem to have caught whatever ailed Trump with the excessive snorting. IMO
Why would someones face matter in anything. I sure don't care about a persons looks when, hell just about anytime.

Doesn't look like Ford will be getting any bills.

There are GoFundMe accounts
and her attorneys went on the record saying "“Her lawyers have paid for her polygraph.” “As is routine.”

And this...

RACHEL MILLER: Besides -- you mentioned some GoFundMe accounts. Besides those, are there any other efforts outside of your own personal finances to pay for your legal fees or any of the costs occurred -- incurred?

DR. CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD: It's my understanding that some of my team is working on a pro bono basis, but I don't know the exact details. There are members of the community in Palo Alto that have the means to contribute to help me with the security detail, et cetera.

MILLER: Have you been provided --

MICHAEL BROMWICH, ATTORNEY FOR DR. FORD: I can help you with that. Both counsel are doing this pro bono. we are not being paid and have no expectation of being paid.

Ford: Feinstein Gave Me Advice On Attorneys
Speaking of financials: there are some real questions about how BK paid off huge credit card bills, obtained large down payment on house...just saying.

I'm wondering if that's what happened myself.
This entire process was orchestrated. They totally underestimated Republicans ability to connect the obvious dots. Repubs also don't underestimate the intelligence of the public the way the dems have done. JMO

His drinking is relevant because supposedly he was very drunk when he assaulted Dr.Ford and Ramirez. It seems on the hour more reports are coming out about his excessive drinking and lies.

He has also lied about his drinking.

I didn't post that it mattered...but most would admit that some or most of his facial tics and expressions were different than those of the average person.IMO

He's the only child of a Judge and an attorney, went to expensive private schools and now he's a federal Judge himself. I doubt his finances are a concern. JMO
