His drinking is relevant because supposedly he was very drunk when he assaulted Dr.Ford and Ramirez. It seems on the hour more reports are coming out about his excessive drinking and lies.
His drinking 30 years ago doesn't concern me. There needs to be actual corroborating evidence to the allegations other than hearsay about drinking. JMO

The goal was to make sure she passed. JMO
The person that conducted the test is a former FBI agent. Was he involved in the conspiracy?

I didn't post that it mattered...but most would admit that some or most of his facial tics and expressions were different than those of the average person.IMO
The average person wasn't in his position. JMO

No, he was told she is a victim and treated her as a victim.

Maybe the person who paid him and gave him the list (short list) of questions to ask would be of interest. JMO

No, he was told she is a victim and treated her as a victim.
The goal was to see if she was telling the truth and she passed. IMO

Of course. I'm sure the polygraph examiner did exactly what he was asked to do. Nothing more, nothing less.

All of two (or one) questions. JMO

I have seen many people under the same spotlight and have never witnessed anyone quite like him.
I'll leave it at that. IMO

He's the only child of a Judge and an attorney, went to expensive private schools and now he's a federal Judge himself. I doubt his finances are a concern. JMO

Spending far more than he reported earning raised red flags for many. It’s pretty well sourced info.

There's a lot we don't know about Brett Kavanaugh's sketchy finances

Brett Kavanaugh has saved almost nothing — so does he actually understand business?

This entire process was orchestrated. They totally underestimated Republicans ability to connect the obvious dots. Repubs also don't underestimate the intelligence of the public the way the dems have done. JMO

Orchestrated? Agree. IMO Dems + left leaning organizations funded with big money. Maybe eventually we'll learn the truth.

I Swear. I feel like Judge Kavanaugh is being made a target for any woman who has ever been assaulted.
What about the 69 women who wrote and signed a letter to the senate, praising him as a fair boss who never assaulted them in anyway whatsoever. To the contrary, they say he was an outstanding human being!
Many who have known him for 30 years?

So, those women's voices do not matter?
I think that they do matter. Politics be damned.

These women have something to say. They know and have worked with Judge K. For decades.
Their statements mean much more to me, versus the accusers.
In my really sincere opinion.

ALL women's voices matter. But even the most serial sexual abuser doesn't abuse EVERY woman with whom he interacts. Jeez.

In this case, the focus is on a 15-year-old girl who was simply at a party in the 80's. I believe her. How sad that the voices of the abused mean nothing to you.

For me, the bottom line is this; Brett Kavanaugh has been nominated, by another sexual abuser let's not forget, for the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Whatever the truth, no one appointed to that bench should be there under a cloud of suspicion.

And beyond the accusations of sexual abuse, this man has made quite clear his complete disdain for roughly half of the citizens of the United States of America. So yeah, he should withdraw and fade away.

Yes. His recent, proven misstatements of truth before the judiciary committee concern me far more.

Details of F.B.I.’s Kavanaugh Inquiry Show Its Restricted Range

WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Saturday that the F.B.I. will have “free rein” to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, but the emerging contours of the inquiry showed its limited scope.

Four witnesses will be questioned in coming days about aspects of the assault accusations against Judge Kavanaugh, according to two people familiar with the matter. Left off the list were former classmates who have contradicted Judge Kavanaugh’s congressional testimony about his drinking and partying as a student.

Snip

The White House can order investigators to further examine the allegations if their findings from the four witness interviews open new avenues of inquiry, and Mr. Trump seemed to stress that part of the plan in a tweet late on Saturday.

Snip

The four witnesses were Mr. Judge; Leland Keyser, a high school friend of Dr. Blasey’s whom she said attended the party but was not told of the assault; P.J. Smyth, another party guest; and Ms. Ramirez, the Yale accuser.

Now, let's be realistic.
How many "I'm sorry, but I don't recall," or "I have tried to remember that happening, but I'm just drawing a blank," or "I have no memory of anything like that -- I'm being totally honest with you," or similar, do you think we will hear? It may be an honest answer from one of them, but if we hear it from all of them, it will jog the hinky meter a bit, doncha think? I'd bet money on it.

Maybe if the FBI agent hooked them up to their version of a hinky meter, it might turn out differently.
I also wonder if the FBI will be allowed to use a lie-detector.
JMHO.
So far, IIANM, CF is the only one in this thing to have taken a lie detector test, which, in her case showed no evidence of lying.

Who said he stopped drinking? I haven't heard him say that. In fact he said he still likes beer.

I think everyone realizes that if drinking history is relevant for positions of power and influence, the field of qualified applicants will be significantly reduced. Many people, the majority even, drink excessively at some point if their lives.

And some admit to it and change lives such as Betty Ford

The more posts that I read by members here on Websleuths proclaiming all sorts of unsubstantiated claims about Kavanaugh as fact makes me feel that the unthinkable is true.
Scary times. JMO
