I can't read the info linked but assume if what you say is the case, he's trying to have himself put in some kind of safe guarding situation where nobody can get to him -or- it's an elaborate explanation / excuse (aka LIE) as to why he slaughtered a whole family and left a baby with no parents -or- he's psychotic and manic ... or all of the above!
How is he even allowed comms with the outside world to discuss his crime when it hasn't been tried yet?
**EXCLUSIVE: ACCUSED MASS MURDERER AUSTIN DRUMMOND SPEAKING OUT ABOUT THE CASE AGAINST HIM.
This is his first interview since his arrest August 5 for quadruple murder in Lake County, TN.
He was on the run for nearly a week — making national news and terrorizing communities in northwest Tennessee.
How did he and I make contact?
A source provided my cellphone number to Drummond and he called me from where he is being held in the Obion County, TN jail without bond.
Drummond is accused of killing James Wilson (21), Adrianna Williams (20), Braydon Williams (15), and Cortney Rose (38).
That is four counts of first-degree murder and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
SO, WHAT DID DRUMMOND SAY IN THIS EXCLUSIVE PHONE INTERVIEW WHICH I DID RECORD?
(Audio clips to come.)
Here are key points:
— Drummond revealed he was working as a confidential informant after being approached by prosecutors.
He claims to have assisted authorities including the FBI — under cover — to help in their crackdown on drug smuggling into jails and prisons … helping to arresting dealers, crooked cops and gang member leadership.
— Drummond confirms he became a member of the Vice Lords gang during a prior stint behind bars.
— In recent weeks before the murders he was notified that his cover was blown.
Then when the four people were murdered he ran.
— Drummond admits he did the wrong thing by running, but said he was scared.
— He says he is innocent and had no reason to kill the four individuals — all of whom he considered to be family.
But Drummond does say — without explanation — he was somehow directly involved in the killings.
NOW, I did ask him what he knows about how they were killed and, if not him, then who did it?
I also asked him to explain the role the baby that was found left in a car seat alive in Dyer County played.
Drummond said, at this point, he is not ready to answer those questions.
He definitely knows more.
What to believe is another matter.
But we will talk again.
Now not long after hearing from Drummond, I contacted Lake County District Attorney Danny Goodman, Jr.
He was already well aware of the conversation with Drummond.
All jailhouse phone calls are recorded and this one is now already part of the criminal case file.
General Goodman could not comment specifically yet on what Drummond said.
But he did say there’s no doubt in his mind Drummond killed the four and there was a clear motive.
We may soon learn much more at a preliminary hearing on the case in early September.
I did reach out to Drummond’s court appointed attorney, but have not heard back.
MORE TO COME.

I am assuming Beres plans to discuss this on the evening news. He's with Channel 5 out of Nashville. I hope to catch the broadcast
