When it comes to human anatomy, IR is different than when it comes to clothing (which has differing contents and dyes). IR has to do with reflectivity of light that is on a wavelength that is outside of normal visibility, so I don't think you can just say lighter is darker and darker is lighter. The "whites" of our eyes also have blood vessels and liquid, etc that might affect wavelength reflection. I can't actually find anything definitive at this time, though.2 things. The whites of your eyes are the whites of your eyes. Can we infer from the photo below that light things become darker and dark things become lighter due to infa-red? Secondly, could that be a taser in the perp's pocket? Jmo
