Suspicious behavior of Haleigh Cummings father

If ron hit a door & car like he said , wouldn't his nuckles be scratched up and bloody .

LE stated that Ron told them he hit a door. A poster here who claims a close relationship with Ron says he hit a car. Ron himself has never made a public statement regarding what caused those injuries.

You would be surprised at the young parents whose kids sleep with them all of the time. My nephew and his wife have two little boys and both boys have slept with them since birth. I think the older one now has a mattress on the floor in thier room but he is still in their room. I know an awful lot of young parents whose kids sleep with them and have since day one. They want it that way for some reason so this isn't as unordinary as you might think.

It is very common for kids to sleep with their parents, but Misty wasn't their mama. She was the teenage girlfriend of the daddy. Not to mention, most young couples in a brand new relationship tend to be very *amorous*....

Ronald has many suspicious behaviors, as well as disturbing judgement calls. imo

My comment mentioned nothing about any perceived correctness of children sleeping with their parents. My comment was about a parent, whose child is missing, telling one story one day and a different story the next day as to where the child was sleeping and therefore last seen.

As for the cuts on Ronalds hand, I think it very suspicious compared with the time frame of Haleigh's disappearance. Yes, it could be related to something else, but when investigators see cuts on a subjects hands (after a murder) they always take pictures of those cuts. Hopefully, there are pictures that were taken by LE, although there is the video for back up.

That coupled with his "performance" the day after Haleigh was reported missing, had my hinky meter up from day one. That video of Ronald was no award winning performance and it was then that I said to myself, "somethings not right here". Add in the 911 call and, IMO, it's obvious that Ron was no innocent by stander in Haleigh's fate.

Everything since then has only added to the suspicion, but if I have to recall two events that put Ronald into the guilty light, I remember that interview and the 911 call. Everything else is just gravy.

HOWEVER, that is not what was reported. It was reported that Ron hit the back door that was WIDE open and LE took that door and Ron's blood was indeed found on it.

So if you hit a door with your fist, your knuckles might get scuffed up, but I don't see how you can get cuts inbetween your fingers. Also, the arm, that is just strange and looks to me like he scraped it against something really hard, like he got his arm caught in a tight space and had to work it out. That's a hefty bruise there in Papa's picture.

No, actually the arm part looks like it could have gotten caught in a van door. Good thinking. I'm just wondering about the cuts, bites, rips, or whatever that is between his pinky and other finger.

As for a gun being used, I know the whole scenario about the gun is perplexing, but wouldn't LE have peformed gun powder residue tests on his hands? We have no way of knowing (at least I don't) at this time if they did, but it seems to me if someone is known for carrying a gun, they might do this type of test on that person.

Em, I haven't ruled out the use of the gun since it was rumored and a statement given to LE that Ron was seen about town brandishing a gun and looking for money the night Haleigh disappeared.

I'd like to know if this 9 mm is the same gun Ron directed Misty to find in the drain pipe under her brother's driveway. I'm thinking that Ron hid it himself so that LE would not confiscate it during the investigation.

Yep me too. Seems like a pretentious presentation of some sort. It does however give us a better look at this bloody hand and arm. I blew the image up 400% and look what we can see. There's some skinning and bruising going on with the inner forearm.

Everytime I look at this photograph I immediately think about someone's teeth making the shape of the cuts.

I think we are forced to simply accept what has been told to us by several members of this family. Ronald got into a fight with Cousin Joe less than 48 hours before that picture was taken. In fact, the only one saying there was no fight was Ronald himself.

Looking at the picture of Joe posting the fliers the same day that this picture of Ronald was taken, Joe didn't seem to have a mark on him while Ronald looked like he had been tore up. Embarrassment about getting his azz beat could easily be why Mr Cummings tried to deny the fight.

I don't know for sure what happened, but when I've got this many people saying there was a fight, Ronald looking like there was a fight, AND Ronald trying to deny the fight, it's not too difficult for me to form an opinion.

Em, something is very wrong here. Where were the police? Why wasn't he arrested that night. That was, if it really happened, a terrorsic threat. If that happened where I live....God forbid what the police would do!
