Suspicious behavior of Haleigh Cummings father

I know this thread is about suspicious behavior of Ron Cummings but just wanted to point out that I think it is extremely suspicious that LE has not looked at Ron no more than has been published. I'm truly hoping that LE has had a plan all along that they would play Misty in hopes that she would become the witness against Ron. That by LE ignoring any implications that Ron was involved, then Ron would become complacent and think that he was safe. Ron has continued to control Misty in this case. IMO, the two of them are using the media to get messages across to each other that they are still standing strong and not saying anything to implicate the other.

As the talking heads say: Go back to the 3-day bender

Misty wanted baby/Ronald didn't
She claimed to have been pregnant/He beat her up
She left to make him jealous/He was alone w/ 2 kids
She came back sheepishly/They talked

The love of Ronald's life is Haleigh/Not Misty

If Misty can get rid of Haleigh/She would have RC all to herself

Who does MC know that would take Haleigh to scare Ronald? DS?

So after some experimenting, using all sorts of things, and finally depending on the Main Squeeze, I had him throw a punch at me while I was throwing one at him. Inadvertently, my fist hit his fist exactly where his ring (he wears it on his middle finger/right hand) would cut into the skin between my pinky and ring finger of my right hand. The ring has an intricate design and caused a little scratching on my fist. I imagine if we were throwing punches in the midst of trying to beat the tar out of each other and I hit his fist in the same way, it would cause the same kinds of cuts we see on Ron's right hand. The bruise on the wrist then could be trying to block a blow.

P.S., he's cute but I'd win in a fist fight with the MS.

TN and Ron both had an excuse ready. He punched a door when he found out Haleigh was missing. They even showed LE the spot. My question is: how do they know that spot was made than and not sometime before?

With regards to the changing of the clothes and shaving. He also apparently got a boil removed from his neck after Haleigh went missing but during the first few days. I don't know anything about boils so maybe it is something that needs to get treated asap but that has always been hinky to me. The bandage on the neck and the bruises/scrapes on the hands.
I think it's possible that Ron, in an attempt to concoct a cover story for his fresh injuries, punched the door. Also, people who over indulge in pills, suffer from a lot of boils. But, I wonder why he felt it important to have it removed while his daughter was missing. Going to the dr. should've been the least of his worries.

I just thought maybe the cuts on his hands were from working his Aunt's tree-cutting business. He doesn't seem like the type to wear gloves. Don't know about the bruise.
Suspicious to me is telling Misty to bring a condom after the party weekend, even if he thought she was not a willing participant. That's all she was to him, a sex-party girl. She was there to babysit and fill his needs. The more he could get her to do, tatoo, mailbox rat, whatever, the more pumped up he felt. There was no love for her on his part. Never saw a sader guy than him at the wedding. He liked young girls because they would excuse his behavior and tolerate it.
But did she? I see her as capable of great rage that she could have dirrected at Haleigh. She can change her personality in a second depending on who she is with.

newstome, you're right, Misty has shown an ability to change personalities from the 911 call on. This is important to know about her. Watch her in the jail house tapes and you will see she has a different personality for ever person she encounters from her brother Timmy to her Mom.
And, yes, Ron does select younger women (girls) to fulfill his needs. In order to have custudy of his children, he needed someone to care for them daily. I doubt he would take on the daily needs of a child, which can be endless. A younger woman will take a lot of you know what for a little bit of lovey-dovey. They rarely have much self-esteem so they are easily pushed around. However if anything since she's been behind bars, we see a very spoiled and demanding Misty.
Could she have harmed Haleigh out of trying to bend that child's will? Of course. At one time I posted here that I believed Haleigh to be a very active and possibly willful child who was hard to handle. I really based it on the video and photos of Haleigh. She rarely seemed to be calm in the photos and videos.
Add to this Misty's comment about Haleigh seeming to be allright the last night Misty was with Haleigh. Why wouldn't she seem allright?
Also, I'd really like to know, why didn't Misty want to babysit the children that afternoon/evening? Was she really physically tired or just tired of trying to get Haleigh to behave and do what she was told?
Anyone have any specific ideas why Misty didn't want to be in charge of the kids that night?
With her comment to TN that she would watch the children if it was okay with Ron, I got the feeling she was afraid of Ron that afternoon/evening. Why would she need his approval? Wasn't tending the children one of her duties as his live-in girlfriend? Hmmmm?

Which leads me to believe he may have been trying to hang on to that van while Misty was trying to get away from him...No doubt in my mind something happened to Haleigh when he caught up with Misty that afternoon after she picked up Haleigh...What I do not understand is this.. WHY was he not arrested immediately if not sooner after they saw those bruises...JMO

You know Em, your post makes a lot of sense. When you look at the timeline, as we know it, it would seem almost natural that something went wrong when Misty and Ron interacted during the time Misty picked up Haleigh. Misty comment about Haleigh seeming to be allright later at the motor home makes me wonder why that comment was necessary. It's very telling within the big picture of things that may have happened that afternoon/evening.

I appreciate you taking one for the team, debs. What a dedicated sleuther you are. :)

Have we noticed any fancy rings on our players' hands? I can't rule out something scraping between his fingers, like a rope, and I still have doubts about the bruise in the photo, but what do I know. He could've gotten it blocking a punch or hitting the door with the side of his fist and arm.

I was gonna say that earlier. She was only a baby sitter and bed buddy to him. Oh and probably a house maid (although a lousy one I'm sure). Sad but for Misty this was probably about the best she'd had it in her life. Ron was the gold standard she had reached in her world and she was d@mn proud of it. Misty is a walking anti-drug aadvertisment!! Forget the cracked egg in a frying pan commercial LOL

ILM, so agree with you. He probably bought her cigarettes, beer, food and she attached herself to what she thought was her rising "star". Didn't she find it odd that she didn't even have a key to the MH?

The biggest thing for me is: How could Ron take her back after the weekend she had? How? Doesn't he have any self worth. Why would he want to be with a woman that did what she did that weekend?!

Which comment about Haleigh being all right, AZ? If you mean the one she reportedly made in the hypnosis session, I pointed out on another thread that was an error made by a poster who transcribed the video.

I'm sorry, but Misty didn't go sheepishly, back . Ronald had been trying to talk to her, but she refused, so in a petulant, face saving fit, he threw her clothes on Nay Nay's? lawn. HE WANTED HER BACK. Also, why do you think Haleigh is 'the love of Ronald's life'? She was his daughter, not his love interest. What he felt for Haleigh, can't be compared to what he felt for Misty. I've never gotten the impression that Misty was jealous of Haleigh. Teresa, GGS, & Crystal all said that Misty loved & was good to the children, & that they adored her & cried to be with her. If Misty was secretly being mean, they wouldn't have wanted to be with her. GGS said that Haleigh looked like she had stepped out of a beauty shop every morning, for school. Misty took her to school, picked her up, & let her sleep with her. During the interviews, she talked about how smart Haleigh was. She seemed very close to her & proud of her. I, for one, believed Misty's initial tears. She seemed to be in genuine pain & in shock. Yes, she also seemed to be guilty (& remorseful), of something, but I don't think it was murder or an arranged kidnapping.

In all the MySpace pages of Misty's friends/relatives it's like a code of honor to have a child or two...(and not be able to financially afford them)

Excellent point Beatrice. That subject also comes up in the jail house tape between Hank Jr. (Tim) and his wife. His wife comments on the length of time Misty will be facing possibly after she's sentenced. She comments on how old Misty will be when she's released and that her life will not include any babies.

azwriter, I don't get that feeling that Misty was afraid of Ron, ever. She may have had plans to continue the weekend party, an I'll show you, type of vindictive manuver, a temper tantrum. I don't think they were back together. Haleigh was outgoing, happy, and she told Daddy when someone came over. Misty knew Ron loved his kids and always put them first over her. Haleigh was his princess not Misty. Haleigh had the gold necklaces, her name was tatooed on his back. I'm sure Haleigh was a constant little happy, chatter-box, relaying conversatations and actions she saw. Both of my daughters used to do that, sometimes drove me crazy and I dearly love them.
I see something very dark in Misty, well beyond teenage acting out. Just one of my theories.

Because he doesn't care about HER. She was there to be used.

Why she made that statement, I don't know, but I doubt Haleigh was doing wheelies that afternoon. Also, to my knowlwdge, Tommy has never stated he was there that afternoon either so we really don't know IF he was even over there that afternoon when she claims he was.....
Hopefully, someday we will know the truth, but I'm not counting on that happening anymore..IMHO...
Too too much that could have been released, has been withheld for some unknown reason...but thats just my opinion...JMO

The way Misty worded that really confused me. Why would she give and indicate that HC was ok at a certain time? Opposed to what, when, how, where?????

Az.... Also IF true that TN offered to pay her to babysit and Misty told her payment wasn't necessary and she would do it IF Ron said it was ok could mean TN didn't clear the arrangement she and Misty had made with Ron C.
Witnesses have stated Misty picked Haleigh up and drove off in the opposite direction of the MH.....Someone also said that Ron C showed up at the bus stop too and when he found out Misty had picked Haleigh up he went after her.....I can't imagine him being anything other than totally out of control...JMO

I think that at the time TN asked her to watch the children, Misty and Ron had not made up and were not a couple. Ron and Misty had a splitting of the sheets when Ron violently reacted to Misty claiming to be pregnant. He was abusive and threw her and her clothes out. I'm not claiming that Misty is a Rhodes Scholar but even she must have seen that since Ron threw her and her clothes out that she was no longer his live in girlfriend/babysitter. Since she told TN that if it was OK with Ron that she would babysit, then I'm assuming that Ron may have given her the impression that she was no longer welcome in his home.

Your scenario is making more and more sense to me. I'm not familiar with the road that she was driving on. Could she have been on her way to Timmy's house? I'm beginning to think that Ron did catch up to her and you are correct in thinking that Haleigh was injured at this time. I wish we knew what LE found out by interviewing the AC man. I also wonder why we haven't heard that LE questioned the other relative, Elisha or ? who was with GGMS, reportedly, when she came over to the MH.

Thanks but I always put a check mark in the box. Still logged out every ten minutes. This Web site is the only one where I have this problem. I'm stubborn, so I just keep logging back in.
I was having the same problem the other day. Not sure what happened but it fixed itself. :)
