TX Suzanne Clark Simpson missing in San Antonio, last seen by friends at dinner - 6 October 2024 *Arrest* #2

We know the police are interested in Brad Simpson's phone, which he reportedly placed in lockdown mode to avoid tracking.

Hyslip is not involved with that case but explained that while lockdown mode protects the phone from unauthorized access, geofencing could still be possible.

"Lockdown mode is more of a protection from someone else getting into your phone when it's on, or if they were to start it up, it would be harder to enable law enforcement or anybody to get into the phone," Hyslip said.

Brad Simpson remains at the Bexar County Jail. Sources tell us his next court hearing will be Monday, which will be done virtually. It's a 60-day mandatory hearing for his two minor children who are currently in the care of Brad's brother and sister here in town.

I doubt the prosecution would hinge their case merely on Suzanne's "touch DNA" found on the saw. That would be easily explainable by the defense.

I would bet my life that the DNA found on the saw came from either blood, tissue or bone. All things that should not be on any saw simply because Suzanne may have used the saw at some point in time before her disappearance.

Hopefully BS's "touch DNA" was also found on the saw. That would directly tie him as a person that used the saw. Even if his DNA was not found on the saw, I think there will be others involved who can testify the saw belonged to BS. Which I suspect his buddy will do when he turns states witness to save his butt and will testify at trial that BS gave him the saw along with the gun to hide.

Never ceases to amaze me why people don't dispose of such things. But I guess that is a good thing. The saw is defiantly a nail in his coffin and a good piece of evidence for the state.

JMO
What seems to indicate his cavalier confidence in him getting away with it is that he kept the saw somewhere hidden like you say. What the hell did he think ? That he’d get away with it and be able to use his saw again in the future for home projects !? Or his little self trophy this all points to premeditation IMO.

If he had the saw a long time anyone of his adult children could validate this . If it was purchased new at the Home Depot stop and Suzanne’s dna was on it then he’s toast. She was missing before he bought it. Her dna can’t be on it by prior use or handling as she wasn’t around when it was purchased …unless he used it on her . It’s very clear .

Date if saw purchase is key.

To many neighbors near the wooded area. At night the sound would have really carried a long way. I am leaning either near the home or at the disposal spot, not in the wooded area.JMO

Blades available to saw thru pipe and metal as well as wood and other things. A body would be an easy task , exception flesh and blood , did he put her in a freezer and then do the dismember deed. He had all that night and several hours during the daytime after he dropped the 5 year old at school. Leaning towards just her head and hands and sealed in a bucket of quikcrete. Ugh I hate these thoughts!
Well the freezer would def have her dna.

Maybe file for a DOD grant . They have gobs of money and love research . Your site is an excellent human psychological social media research operation . The data would totally be something they would give money to to also be able to study . They have gobs of it . The DOD even gives money to breast cancer research. #facts

I went back, and re-watched the press conference where his brother spoke. In retrospect, you can see the agony on his face that he knows about the saw at that time. He’s doing all he can to be in front of people and represent his family well given his brothers unspeakable act.

I don’t know about all of you guys and your families but we all talk to each other and communicate. I cannot imagine that his Brad’s digital footprints are clean . P

and lockdown mode doesn’t prevent the at&t cell towers from seeing your phone ping and provide a location

All lockdown mode does is prevent anyone who finds your phone from doing anything with it like getting your banking passwords and stuff like that.

His message to Connor that says “ I don’t have much time and you’re all I’ve got “— that tells you he’s guilty right there. He’s as much as admitting it. it also tells you that he knows he’s being hunted — especially If that text message was sent around the time that he was supposed to meet with the olmos Park police but then didn’t show up . Sequence of events is key. Only LE KNOWS. IMHO the text proves that he’s basically admitting to cotter that he did it and is on the run. its implicit . If he didn’t do it, why would he need more time?

Using a sawzall aka reciprocating saw on a fresh, dead body would be extremely messy.
Yes it would, unless she was put in a walk in cooler overnight that many hunters have access to. I believe they keep them around 34 degrees unless it is a freezer. They are usually located on the outside of a building and free standing, about 6x6 ,8x8 or bigger. They use them to hang deer carcass this time of year. Speculating as always.

Brad was burning 3 cell phones and a laptop when they arrested him. All the devices belonged to Brad, not Suzanne.
He kept powering down the 4th cellphone that he kept with him, instead of using one of the other three. What was on the laptop and the 3 burned cell phones? I’m assuming non were saved on the cloud, or did he delete that iCloud account. Was he having an affair(s)? Usually the abusive partner obsessed with her phone is the one who is doing the cheating. He keeps taking away Suzanne’s only phone, but surprise, he has 4 and an incriminating laptop. Maybe he used those to open multiple accounts to track her or pretend he’s someone else online communicating with her. Maybe the laptop has all that tracking info.
He goes to all the trouble of concealing her body quite well, but he decides to keep the saw? If he’s going to hide it, why not just throw it in the dump? Maybe the dismembering was the last thing and he was out of time.
The affidavit did not mention a tarp being in the fire pit. Or her clothes. Or her cellphone. LE was able to track down the owner info of the 3 phones. Did he just start the fire when LE rolled up?
He is SO screwed.

Tracking Brad Simpson's Movements: Cody On The Case

#CourtTV's Cody Thomas traces alleged killer #BradSimpson's last steps before his wife, Suzanne Simpson, was reported missing.

I watched the beginning of this tonight. Cody traveled to all the spots listed on the arrest warrant.

Clearly Brad didn’t plan Suzanne’s death in advance. He was all over the place and very disorganized. Lack of sleep probably played a big part. I say this, but here we are thirty two days later and still no body. Is she in the landfill and they just weren’t able to find her? LAPD searched for Heidi Planck at Chiquita Canyon Landfill and never found her either.

OR he had hypothetically thought about how to dispose of her numerous times beforehand and then when the time came he wasn’t as on the ball as he thought he would be if this ever happened.
IMO

In Judge Joel Perez’s court this morning for Brad Simpson’s first in-court appearance since his October arrest in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Suzanne Simpson. Brad is facing multiple felony charges in her disappearance, including murder 1/

Suzanne’s friends have filled a row all donning pink and purple scarves in support of Suzanne and domestic violence awareness. Brad Simpson has not yet entered the courtroom, and neither has his attorney. He has been at the Bexar County jail on bonds totaling $3M 2/
