Someone made the comment that he was trying to flee the interview and had made himself unavailable for days after this tape was hawked by Hoover. It should be obvious to reasonable people that if police had thought it imperative that they talk to Casey, they would have made arrangements to do so. It wasn't imperative that they talk to Hoover OR Casey, because arrangements weren't made until last week to even view the tape.
Now we've seen the tape or most of what was to be seen, and the tape is worthless as evidence of anything - it isn't helpful to the prosecution and it isn't helpful to the defense. It doesn't move the case further along, it doesn't clarify anything and the only thing it does do is prove that Hoover lives in a dreamworld or is a major fleecer if he thinks he can get 200K for this tape. Do you know why? Because the tape doesn't show anything.
