Its almost unbelievable, isn't it?

No criminal lawyer in their right mind goes public with statements like "my client said he never met him". Did it ever occur to him his client may have lied to him? Most criminal lawyers realise their clients lie from time to time and zip it til they have to open it at trial, unless they have to put on an alibi notice or something. Clients can change their stories lots of times before trial, and you don't convey to the press each and every story your client tells you along the way, unless of course you hate your client and don't care to practise law anymore.

LE must be going absolutely nuts. I feel so bad for them. We all just read it and watch it and react to it and discuss it. It's their job - they *have* to - figure out this big heaping pile of a hot mess. God, the overtime those poor men and women must be putting in because of this circus full of low-lifes.

No, it doesn't look like that to me anyway. It is very thin like an I-pod all white and with a long strap. There doesn't appear to be anything else connected to it.

Exactly how has the defense been tripping over this tape? It makes NO difference if they saw the tape the same day it was taken, or the next day or the day after that, or if they watched it every single on a 24 hour loop. Unless they have direct evidence that Casey Anthony led them to the exact spot where the body was found, the tape is meaningless as proof or evidence of anything.

So what if it was Lee Anthony on the phone? Obviously, the tape doesn't show the PI finding a body. All that tape proves is that he was on the phone with someone, he could claim that if it was LA, they were talking about football and there is NOTHING on that tape to contradict that.

What surprises me is why anyone would let a sleazebag like Hoover pull the wool over her eyes. This tape is worthless as evidence.

You know, it is possible that the Anthonys received a tip from a psychic, had a hunch from speaking to Casey or received info from one of Casey's friends. Cindy Anthony said that until she was given uncontravertible proof that her granddaughter was dead, she would continue to believe her alive. Now what is wrong with that? If it was my granddaughter or my any of my children, I would have trouble believing that he/she was dead until I saw the body and I would not believe myself that any of my children could commit a crime like this. Why shouldn't the Anthonys support and defend their daughter? I would support and defend my children, wouldn't you?

Exactly. Not a single one of them makes even the least attempt to so much as pretend to be concerned about CAYLEE!!! It's beyond disgraceful. Not a one of them has a lick of shame.

Now that I really looked at it on JVM just now it doesn't looked connected to anything at all, I agree. He doesn't appear to be taking any type of readings either.

And HOW long was it before the investigators got him to come in for an interview?!?! LOL It seems he was "unavailable" for a few right after all this came out, wasn't he?
GMAB! People just aren't buying it anymore!!! Nothing from the A fam camp is forthcoming or truthful, imo. I think people are finally realizing what they are all about!

I recall the weekend that he did the 2 tv interviews, he said he wouldn't talk to them til after the funeral. Guess LE didn't go along with his plan! LOL

As Casey's attorney, it is JB's duty to protect the attorney/client privilege. He'd be negligent in not seeking protection when one of his employees is questioned by LE. Regardless, one statement made when the tape first came out is hardly "tripping" all over himself, no matter how many times it's reported.

If he thought it was nothing then what is he trying to protect? If he has something to protect it would be something like "DC overheard KC tell me where she dumped the body". That would be something important that an attorney would try and protect, no? So needless to say, it wasn't "nothing", it was "something" and DC ended up being video taped where KC dumped the body. Ok if A=B and B=C then A=C. He may not have been tripping over himself but I'm sure he soiled his shorts a time or two in the last week

If the investigators wanted to talk to DC, they would have gone to his home or his office and talked to him. Obviously, it wasn't that important to the police.

That Baez wanted to be present when Casey was questioned, is to Baez's credit as an attorney - any good attorney would not want an employee or contractor speaking to the police without a lawyer defending his client's right to privilege. I can't imagine why anyone interested in seeing a conviction in this case not support that right. I'd rather there wereln't any grounds for an appeal or overturn of the verdict because of something stupid like this.

JB isn't tripping over himself to prevent an interview, he's doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing and that's provide a zealous defense for his client.

You should review the thread about the Hearing last week. They did go ahead and iv him....of course they weren't going to wait for him!

Frankly, I don't care what JB did or didn't do.

I care about what the A fam knew and WHEN they knew it!! This is why we are still talking about it!! There is more to come from this tape than what we have seen. We still don't know about the audio portion which JH says he did not release to anyone except the FBI. Interesting!!

Along the same lines, I hope this is not OT or already posted here somewhere...however, listen to this and tell me if you think this is a coded message from Casey to Lee. At 6:17 Casey doesn't say home she says holt. which some are saying stands for Hidden Oaks Lake Trail, thats the elementary school, near where Caylee was found.
Was that the clue to Lee??? She definitely says holt.. What do you think??

I'm listening to the raw footage video now with Lee's lawyer...OMG...it's much worse than the other one. This guy is talking about his client doing subterfuge etc? If I didn't know better, I'd say this guy was working for LE with all the harm he's doing his client.
